If you are looking for luxury B&B in Donegal then this has to be the place.
I had toured North Coast, Ballintoy, Giants Causeway then short ferry ride to Greencastle. On The Rocks is only short drive in the car from the ferry. It is excellent base to explore Donegal.
On arrival at the B&B Mary had coffee ready, my room was spotless, comfortable bed and lovely ensuite. Guest relaxing area with fridge and they even had few beers included.
Breakfast was excellent, Owen who owns it with his wife even joined me for a coffee and gave great sightseeing tips.
Highly recommended and I cannot wait to return.

The hosts made us feel welcome, they were very friendly. The B&B is lovely, ultra modern and very clean. We felt very relaxed. The view outside you just cant beat. The best B&B I've ever stayed in. Breakfast in the morning sat next to the window, a great start to the day. Would stay here again and reccommend it to others. The price is very good. We got more for our money!

The house is stunning, the views spectacular & the hospitality outstanding. We could not have felt more welcome or at home for the couple of days we stayed with Mary & Owen in their B&B. All the rooms are perfectly furnished & maintained, a lovely sitting area for guests with tea/coffee etc on tap to relax in after a long day on the bikes. Breakfast was superb, pretty much anything you asked for, our fresh fruit could almost have been picked that morning & the scrambled eggs & smoked salmon were the best ever. Mary & Owen's hospitality is second to none. We will go back & I cannot recommend this B&B highly enough.

I could not recommend this B&B more highly. We had a fantastic stay with Mary & Owen, who greeted us with open arms and provided food, conversation and advice. They have such expansive knowledge of the Irish history and Owen is a skilled story teller. They went that extra mile to make us feel at home. They provided breakfast at a time to suit you and cooked just before you were seated, so the food was always fresh. If you have never stayed in a B&B before then this would be your turning point.
We stayed for 4 nights at the end of July 2014. The location is heavenly, easy to find from Foyle Ferry and not too distant from the Causeway route. We felt safe and it was immensely peaceful.

Room Tip: All rooms are mainly for resting and have en suite bathrooms, but there are other relaxing areas aro...

My husband & I who are an Australian couple arrived on Mary's door step mid afternoon looking for accommodation after following signs to her B & B. We were welcome with open arms. Nice slices to accompany our coffee sitting outside taking in the most glorious view. The view was also the same from our bedroom. How I hated leaving. If only another night I kept thinking.Mary advised us on local eateries for dinner that night.
We have spent three weeks travelling around Ireland & I must say this has been one of the best. But defiantly the one with the best views in my life
Thanks Mary for sharing your home & hospitality

We stayed for 5 nights in this superb B & B, we were made so welcome , Mary and Owen offer such genuine hospitality, The breakfasts were simply delicious with home baked Irish soda bread and scones - heaven on a plate ! The interior designs within the house reflect care and attention to detail, from the co-ordinating bedlinen to the lovely crockery on the table. The provision of a "relaxing area " is yet again an example of wonderful hospitality and whilst reclining on very comfortable seating, guests may avail themselves of chilled drinks from the fridge and enjoy Mary's tasty cakes or scones, free of charge of course ! The surrounding area has some of the cleanest beaches and stunning scenery. We look forward to our next visit.

Room Tip: All the rooms are excellent, one is particularly special as it has a jacuzzi and has to be booked by...

Stayed for one night on our journey around the north coast. We arrived late afternoon to be greeted by Mary with her home make cakes and tea. Mary and Owen were happy to inform us of the best places to find some dinner and also had menus for the local restaurants too. On the rocks is a very Modern styled house, the rooms are stylish and beds are comfy, we were fortunate to have one of the east facing rooms with beautiful views over Lough Foyle. The cooked breakfast was excellent with plenty of tea, coffee, orange juice and enough toast to keep us going for most of the day. Would happily stay here again in the future.
