Stayed in this lovely traditional cottage for 3 days. It is clean and comfortable and combines modern amenities with a quaint old fashioned charm. The owner Peter is a really nice man and met us on arrival to show us round the cottage which has a living room/kitchen two bedrooms and a very nice shower room with a large shower WC and wash hand basin. There is also a basin in one of the bedrooms. The fuel store is located outside in the garden and is filled with logs and coal supplied free for guests use . There are double gates and off road parking at the side of the cottage
The cottage is fully equipped - tableware, pots pans cooker microwave, two TVs and DVD player with a selection of DVDs etc. Peter also supplied washing up liquid, tea towels kitchen rolls etc.The beds were freshly made up and towels were provided. There is oil fired central which is included in the very reasonable rental charges but Peter also had the open fire in the living room/kitchen set ready for lighting. It was really lovely to sit by the open fire as the evening drew in and to have the convenience of the central heating in the mornings when it was a bit nippy.
At this Lovely cottage everything is included in the price - there are no hidden charges. The cottage is close to the local supermarket and pub. Moville and Greencastle are 5 minutes away by car. The rest of the peninsula is easily reached. The view from the garden and one the bedrooms is breath taking - beautiful. You would find it difficult to find a better cottage for the price anywhere in Donegal. Thanks a million Peter - we will be back!
