“Stop operating as Clarks”
Reviewed 25 March 2014

I stayed at the hotel on 21/3/14, and it was one of the stasy that I would certainly not forget. The rooms offered first looked decent, but had a lot of issues when explored. The bed sheets were worn out and stained. The bath linen seems to be pretty old and was not even cleaned properly. The furniture in the room was dirty and had smell. After about an hou of check in the light went off and after waiting for about 15 mins called up reception to compain. The maintenance guy reached but was unseccessfull in resolving the issue. After asking was offered a second room on the higher floor, which was even more pathetic. cant even think of the number of issues that we had in the rooms.
We ordered food from the room service, which again was a challenge to place our orders. The order taker was actually reluctant to take our order as according to them its past midnight. On repeated insisting they agreed. The food was served in time. We also ordred for some ice, which was charged and that too @ Rs. 40/- + Taxes for half a ice bucket. Next morning we checked out and was shocked to see the prices of the menu items, all were exorbitantly high priced for the quality of service and product that we got.
As a traveller I put it across to the management that you should seriously look into the product that you have in the offering for your guests and than decide that wether you should really operate or close down.
Only thing I appreciate was the attitude of the person who escorted us the room, it was fantastic the way he explained about every facility in the room and made us comfortable at the time of our check in.

Room Tip: Room sizes does not decide the comfort your stay, rather you should look for the facilities that a h...

Checked in early on date of arrival,0730 and was accommodated without problem.Booking was for 2 nights. Room was average for the price, bedsheets had some stains.Room service was good, and food average. Restaurant was always empty as the occupancy was perhaps low. Location near Kaushambi metro convenient.

I had recently stayed with my famliy for a couple of nights in this hotel and I would say that this is an OK property if you had work in Kaushambi and it is only for a short duration. It is right next to Metro station and since I went to this place during the last week of December, I guess they did not have many bookings and I got a fantastic all inclusive rate for 2 nights. The comman path ways of the property have a worn down look. However the rooms are OK. The food was also decent.

Hotel is not what it looks on portals. Room charges are abnormally high compared to the facilities offered. Old furniture, mosquitoes, smelly/dull rooms, low quality linens, hot water issues. In summary, it's like a local hotel and doesn't fit into a corporate property.
Will not recommend it.
Only positive aspect was it being closer to metro station.

Room Tip: all rooms are same, so doesn't matter

I booked this hotel for my sister and her family for there Jan/ winter trip to Delhi. At the time of check in ID proof was given from my Brother in law and they went to hotel with there kid.
But the person was sitting on reception started to insult my sister and there family because she was not carrying her ID Proofs, As she was visiting with her husband and room was also booked on her husband Name.
2nd they did not provided extra Blanket/ quilt on demand as quilt given by them was not sufficient in bon chill cold weather.
There voice was loud when we asked them to deny check in and refund our money as all there service was worst ever and behaviour was cheap with A Lady who went with her husband and kid but unfortunately she was not carrying her ID proof.
Next Day I shifted them to Lemon tree Hotel which is the nearest to clarks inn and those people are amazing and always helping for families.

I will tell to all never ever visit to clarks inn hotels.

Room Tip: I will never recommend clarks inn hotel due to staff behaviour. They are not ready to help you in an...

This hotel is no way a 3* rated as quoted on websites. White towels dirty and almost grey. Bed sheets with marks on them. Taps, shower fittings scaled not cleaned properly. Mosquitoes in room. Broken picture frames still hanging in rooms with broken glass still in the frame.
One plus point, all staff friendly and helpful. I booked Executive and Standard rooms. Yet when booked in ALL rooms were the same. Leaking sewerage chamber right in front of hotel
