Burg Kronberg isn't the best of the castles I've visited but it's very old (1220), built on a rock and if you climb the 120 steps up to the Tower, you enjoy a panoramic view of the stunning village. The garden isn't special but it's a nice walk with a view. There is a small museum which reveals Kronberg's history and especially the story of the castle. Photos aren't allowed inside the building.
There is no caffeteria here but with so many restaurants in the village, there is no problem at all. It's worth of a visit, mainly because of its top location.
