“Good location even not within Valencia citylimits”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 November 2011

Yes - not exactly in Valencia but this fact is found in most reviews. But great location only few hundred metres from metro station Alboraya Palmaret connecting it to Valencia city centre and airport.

WiFi was free and covered rooms as well so very good option for business traveller as well. Few small bars, chinese restaurant and supermarket were also within walking distance. Also Arena shopping centre and Levante UD stadium were within 5 mins walk.

Me and my friends stayed in this Hotel with the purpose to go to Tomatina!

It`s a 4*** Hotel and we reserve a triple room (room 504, 5th Floor, 3 Single Beds), 2 nights for 130€ (Promotion in booking.com or in their own site), it was ~ 43€/person!
BETTER and CHEAPER than staying in a Hostel!

We rent a car in the Airport (via web in Hertz), that costs ~ 18€/day!!! (Ford Ka or Skoda Fabia, 4/5 Doors, 5 seats), which is very cheap if you share car with friends.
We take GPS with us, so we didn`t have problems to find things.

PROS:
- Cheap! And it is a 4 Star Hotel!!!
- Good Staff
- Quiet (nice to sleep after tiring day), Confortable and Clean, Spacious. Large Mirror in the Room!
- Air Conditioner, Cable TV (limited channels), fridge, desk.
- FREE Wireless and in the reception floor, they have 2 desktops + printer that you can access internet for FREE (if you don`t have laptop it`s perfect).
- Near Metro Station (direct to Airport), linea 3, Station: Alboraya-Palmaret. (2 minutes walk); 1 single ticket: 2.40€; Ticket with return: 3,40€; 10 trips ticket: 7,50€!!!
- Free Parking Places Outside, but if you prefer, you can pay 9€/day to Park inside the Hotel.
- SuperMarket (Name: Consum), behind Hotel (~5 minutes walk).
- SPA and Jacuzzi (but you pay extra: ~24€ ). Free Gym.
- Beaches at 2Kms.

CONS:
- Not near Valencia, but if you rent a car or go by metro, its fast to get there! ( ~ 4,5Kms to the Center of Valencia).
- Pool Out of Service (in maintenance).

We not tried the Buffet Breakfast (not included: 10€ Extra), but we have fridge in the room and supermarkets near by.

if you go with low budget, it is PERFECT!!!
Remember that you are in Alboraya (Not Valencia), but if you rent a car it will be Perfect and Cheap!!! (Easy access by Metro).

Room Tip: 5th Floor rooms are better because sometimes they have Conferences in lower floors (more people nois...

The hotel was far from the city center if you consider that Valencia is a small town. The staff was very good. The rooms and the furnitures are old. The breakfast was ok.

Stayed here for one night on our way to southern Spain. The hotel is quiet difficult to navigate to, it is one of those hotels you can see from the main road but if you miss your turning you have to navigate round lots of one way streets. Once there you can park in an underground car park for 9 euros for the night or park on the street for free. Very clean hotel and nicely decorated. Staff very friendly and most spoke good English, the receptionist recommended a very good Italian restuarant which was a 5 minute walk from the hotel and it was brilliant.

Room was large, clean and perfect for a family of four, the hotel provided our children with their own bed, towels and soap/shampoo which they loved. Loads of great toileteries provided in the bathroom including spare razor/shaving gel, toothbrush and paste, comb etc. When we returned from our evening meal there was a tray in our room with small chocolates, little portions of fruit and a bottle of water which was a nice surprise. Only downside was we had no view in our room and we looked out onto an enclosed stairwell which was a bit clastrophobic but as it was for one night we weren't bothered. Brilliant for an overnight stay very near to the centre of Valencia would definately recommend for weekend break or overnight stay.

We chose this Hotel at random - having read the reviews on trip adviers I am wondering whether these people stayed at the same hotel as me. The staff were welcoming, friendly and their english extremely good both on recpetion and in restaurants. Our room was at the front of the hotel, clean and comfortable and we did not encounter any noise. Breakfast was excellent - choice of cereals/fruits/meats/cheeses and also a hot food bar. We ate in the hotel the first evening and had the buffet meal - this was excellent value for money - with starters/many main courses both hot and cold to chose from and desserts - recommended. The staff were attentive and polite. We ate in the restaurants several times.
The metro into Valencia was literally on the doorstep so having parked the car we purchased a 10 trip ticket and used that for the whole of our stay.
All in all I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

For the first time I have encountered such a hotel which could have been perfect but misses that description because of slight details. When we first entered the hotel the receptionist was lacking in English and if we didn't have a Spanish talking friend with us they could not be finding our reservation. Later on when we entered our room we have seen that the space is enough but the beds are separated. We reserved a triple room hoping that not three beds but one double and one single for our daughter. Unfortunately that was not the case. But the room was quiet, clean and the beds were easily movable so that didn't bother us much. Bathroom was clean and the breakfast they served at the morning was also rather satisfactory. The location of the hotel is very close to the subway station and the swimming pool and the spa facilities they provide is second to none. Also being in a populated are allows you have some small walks and visit small local places easily.

I accompanied my husband who was on a business trip. Before going, I read the reviews here but though it did not matter much as we were only going for 4 days. I was wrong!!!
Asked for a smoking room with a double bed- Got Non smoking with 2 separate single beds. One of which had dirty sheets (found 2 very long black hairs and a bit of dirty nail on one) I did not bother complaining as I did not want an argument (after some of the reviews here). No outside pool or terrace to sunbathe, have a coffee etc, on a main smelly road, and with awful rude staff. Two were arguing about us after we ordered a cheese omollette and they gave us a tuna sandwich, When were returned it, the staff started slagging us off in front of us! As I understand and speak a bit of spanish (I'm originaly from Portugal), I approached them and said in Spanish that I heard and understood all that was said about us,therefore, we did not want to eat there any more! Their face was a picture! All they said was, "Oh, we didnt know you spoke spanish!" and then they walked off in silence!

The food is rubish and you never know which restaurant they are serving it. Noboby tells you either! I was in room 205 and there is a restaurant a few doors down. If breakfast was being served there, at 7am, the noise you could hear in your room resembled being in a zoo.

If you want somewhere just to lay down after spending the day elsewhere, not eat there, not need to ask the staff anything and be near a tube, then the hotel is OK. Otherwise, you will be bored stiff, hungry, insulted and skint.

To finish, I wanted a coffee after dinner. Their bars were all shut! Heaven knows why. Had to go out at 9:30 (evening meals start at 8.30 pm) only to be harrassed and intimidated by tramps for money.

I have never written a review but as I read the reviews on this site before chosing an hotel, I felt I had to give something back and therefore, here is my honest opinion. Out of about 50 hotels I have stayed in, this is the only one I would refuse to stay in again. The thing is, I did not choose it as it was booked by the company my husband works for. And they will be hearing of this.
