This is one of the finest courses I have ever played - My friends and I all adored it. A four-star rating is quite mean but I hope this is seen as providing constructive criticism. The course is brilliant, challenging, in great condition (bar some boggy conditions between the 10th green and 18th fairway) and offers some absolutely stunning views of forest and mountain.
The only negative comments I have are:
1.) The buggy paths are pretty terrible, both in terms of course design and the alarming angles that some of them provide.
2.) Given the great quality of the other 17 holes they should do something to make the 17th a little more interesting.
Catering is currently very simple - this is not a criticism as I'm sure this will improve greatly once the club house is built - they currently only have temporary facilities. The facilities might be quite simple but the staff are all really friendly and helpful.
I really look forward to revisiting La Galiana!
