Great atmosphere and super food. Always sit at the bar and order food as needed. Really interesting dishes and good wine selection.

“Best meal I've ever eaten”
Reviewed 21 April 2014 via mobile

Ok the prices here are not cheap but the food is sensational! The steak was the best I've ever had. The grilled vegetables were phenomenal.

I ordered the cheese croquettes for starter and the order was for 6. When they arrived they were absolutely tiny but very, very tasty!

Avoid the offer of bread with your meal if you are watching money as the rolls come at an extortionate price of €1.80 each an the waiters really try and push it on you.

So yes, very pricy but food is tremendous!

“Best Gin & Tonic in Alicante!”
Reviewed 16 April 2014

We took the opportunity to sample one of the many gin & tonics this establishment offer & without a doubt it was the best in the city.
The Bar/Restaurant is very cosmopolitan & busy so not for the intimate diner but certainly a great place to stop off for a drink en route to a restaurant!

“As cheap or as expensive as you like”
Reviewed 16 April 2014

I went there a few weeks ago having noticed that is an extremely popular place - not even affected that much out of season. The food is excellent and quite wide ranging. I had a simple international cheese plate and Alicante wine for under 10 euros but you can go for top notch caviar and champagne if you want to get rid of 100+ euros. The service is excellent and efficient for such a busy place. Highly recommended for a visit and you are also close to the old town and near another superb place AL Medina
