“Will be back again”

We stayed in Central Station for a week in November. The 2 bedroom apartment is big, bright due to the large floor to ceiling windows, the white furniture and the high ceilings. The kitchen is equipped with the best appliances: a large frig, the hob, oven, dish washer and a washing/drying machine. The proximity to the train station, a block away, made our day trip to Valencia possible. We left the apt at 9 am; had time to buy the ticket and catch the 9:25 am train. The front desk manager Emilio is kind and helpful. When we could not figure out how to use the washing machine, we made a phone call. He came right away and showed us which button to push. Voila, it worked.
Buy the way Emilio speaks good English and the other manager Hans, who is also nice and kind, speaks French. So we did not have communication problem. We will definitely rent the apartment again next time we visit Alicante.

We stayed at one of the 6-bed apartments on the top floor. The central location is great and all the rooms were spacious, clean and modern. There is plenty of wardrobe space, but very little other space to put your things down in the bedroom (I ended up putting everything on the floor). Also there is no furniture in the bathroom to put your toiletries (or hang up towels). The kitchen is huge and modern, but had no water cooker or coffee machine (rather would have traded that in for the dishwasher, which is there). Kitchen also does not have any other furniture or decoration, and looks rather bare as a result. And the bin is way to small if all 6 people are staying. The whole apartment could do with some more trips to Ikea.

We had an annoying "hissing" coming from somewhere just outside the apartment, sounded like a steam leak. It was never constant or the same pitch, and seemed connected to whenever somebody in the block used hot water. Some of us had less then a great night sleep because of this.

All-in-all a great apartment, but could do with some tweaks (and the hissing noise fixing!)

Nice modern apartments, centrally located, but quiet considering all the noise outside! Air conditioning is very effective, and as there are separate units for the living area and bedroom you can tailor this to your needs. The kitchen was modern and well-appointed, though with a slightly odd sense of priorities from my viewpoint. The fridge-freezer was large and effective, and the washer-drier was helpful (even more so once the reception guy had shown me the time-saving programme!). There was also a hob, oven and grill and a dishwasher. However, there wasn’t a kettle (or coffee-maker), toaster or microwave which personally I would find more useful than a dishwasher (particularly as the dishwasher wouldn’t be full even if you put every dish in the apartment in it at once!).
The bathroom was clean and modern, with a large walk-in shower but nowhere to hang your towels and not enough shelf space. I have no complaints about the bedroom, plenty of drawer and hanging space and the bed was comfortable enough, as was the couch in the living room. In the one-bedroom apartments the balcony is small, but it is still nice to have some outside space. However, the balcony furniture, while practical (folds away), is not at all comfortable to sit on.
There is no cleaning service, which wasn’t a huge problem, though I have stayed in much cheaper apartments which are serviced. But it would have been helpful if they could at least have provided bin liners so I could have emptied the bin occasionally myself! (Admittedly, I didn’t think of asking at reception if they had any)
Reception is only staffed in the mornings during the week, but the staff are very friendly and helpful when there. Overall, I would certainly return to these apartments again, as they have more or less everything I needed and are very handy for shops, bars, restaurants and transport links, and not too far to the marina and old town.

Great spot. Clean smells lovely. Get off the dusty roads and there you are. Convenient for trains, bus, and down hill to ferry and bus station taking you further afield. Just ask. Read reports on no kettle etc. but just ask. Emilio very helpful and speaks good English. Tell them what you want and it will be provided. "Just ask" is the motto. Vino on arrival well received. A few improvements eg. more bulbs and shelves or hangers in the bathroom. Shower cubicle a bit of a 'moan' as panel far too short and floor gets soaking....designers !!! Great washing machine and could hang on the balcony. 11 days a bit expensive, but good bed and on top of Fiesta without being kept awake....perfect spot. 301. Everything included. Fantastic air conditioning in a heatwave. First ever to be almost silent. Close the landing door for quiet from staircase at night. If you need an oasis in the desert go there.

Room Tip: 301 we believe quieter than those on the first floor. These rooms get the sound from the bang of t...

We stayed in this apartment picking my son up from a language immersion program. Flew into Madrid- and took train to Alicante. Dragged our bags across the street in a jet lagged state to this comfortable, ideal apartment. What a gem- full kitchen, had a wonderful washer (are these washers ever complicated), lovely balcony area, stores close by for vino. Two bedrooms are ideal and economical for a family. Best part is it was a few steps from the train station- and across the street from Avis car rental (which is AT the train station.) Was really perfect, clean and ideal for our Alicante stopover. Emilio was great- and let us stay until mid afternoon.

Room Tip: You must coordinate how to get the key- as there is not a front desk "persay". Is a uniqu...
