i just got back from this Hotel after staying the past week.
As i always do I will review the pro's and con's but I will tell you all about the room debarcle first.

When we arrived we were taken to our junior suite. It was in the non renovated part of the Hotel. For some reason they have totally modernised only half of the Hotel, it's like they ran out of money half way through !!
Our suite was facing the swimming pool but the way this hotel has been built it was like the walls either side of our balcony were closing in on us, it felt very dark and claustrophobic. Inside this old room was a damp old smell to it, it was dark and dingy, simply awful. So always ask for a room on the renovated half of the Hotel as these are dated and horrible. The showers were old and tatty, the paintwork worn too. So i complained and we got moved to a super room facing the beautiful yacht marina. IT was light , airy , clean and modern with a lovely modern bathroom. The problem was the Hotel charged me and extra e250.00 for the privilege, which i was pretty disgusted with to be honest. But its such a lovely city and the beach and sea is so lovely I swallowed it. I would recommend this hotel but always , always ask for the renovated side, otherwise you will get one of the horrid dingy old damp smelling rooms. One comment I would like to make is that the hotel staff were a miserable bunch, who rarely smiled. Not much customer service or happy faces i'm afraid. But all in all I still would go back for its convenient location. Also only 20 mins from the airport.

Room tip: Make sure you always ask for the newer renovated rooms.

We stayed here for a week. The negative list is too long so I just go straight to the positive things...

... the location and the breakfast.

So... TA requires 200 letters minimum. If you decide to go here anyway go for the renovated rooms.

I came with my mum for 3 nights bed and breakfast and we stayed in a standard room on the second floor. First of all, the rooms are LOVELY! You can't fault them. The fridge is really cool however expensive (3.50 for water and 38 for cava). The shower worked well and the TV was in all different languages. The bed and pillows were really comfy. We didn't see the need in upgrading to a better room.
The hotel has lovely views - one side facing the beach and the other side facing the marina.
It's in a really nice location. There are steps from the hotel to the busy beach. It's 18 euros for two sunbeds and a parasol. The marina is nice with restaurants all the way around and activities such as boating or jet skiing. It's a 5 minute walk to the lift for the castle which is well worth the list. However it isn't a place for English speaking people (understandable).
The pool did seem to be too cold and the pool area doesn't get too much sun. There were plenty of sunbeds for us however I can see it being a struggle for the holidays. Nothing is done when people reserve sunbeds despite there being signs saying towels would be moved.
It can be noisy at night from the casino but that didn't seem to bother me.
Staff were friendly and helpful and the maids did a really good job of keeping rooms extremely clean.
The breakfast was OK. There wasn't much that you typically get like your sausages etc but there was bacon and scrambled eggs, cereals, toast, and churros and pancakes.
The lifts seemed to take forever sometimes.
Food and drink around the pool was really expensive. 3.50 euros for a can of cola light, 12 euros for a pizza and 10 euros for a ham and cheese sandwich.
Wifi worked extremely well.
You can get the C6 bus from the airport to the hotel. It took around 20-30 minutes and only cost 3.70 euros compared to a taxi which costs 20-30 euros. easy to find when you come out of the airport and drops you off more or less outside the hotel.
Overall, we would recommend to anyone.

I stayed here at the begining of september for 3 nights wtih my mum. Hotel is lovely, clean and all of the staff are polite, pleasant and cannot do enough to help you. We arrived at the hotel at 12pm and although check in wasnt until 4pm, we were in our room, unpacked and on the beach by 3pm.Hotel rooms are spacious with beautiful views of either the sea or the marina. Its in a perfect location with the beach, marina and shops and resturants right outside. Already planing our weekend away here for next year.

It's a large hotel in a prime location, by the city center and next to beach and marina. Our room was large and it had a great view to the beach, facing the sunrise. Breakfast was well appointed, although a bit crowded (recommend to go early). Staff at the restaurant was courteous and friendly. I found the desk in the room too small to work comfortably. Also, maintenance staff was not very effective at reacting to a couple of defects that we posted in the hotel-supplied maintenance card.

Room tip: La cama supletoria estaba un tanto incómoda. Reportamos dos defectos en la habitación que no fueron atendidos con eficacia. El escritorio es muy pequeño para trabajar con comodidad.
