spent 10 nights here b&b, sept/oct and couldn't have picked a better hotel, got the c6 airport
bus and with a quick change to a no 23 bus we arrived at the bus stop outside the front door of the hotel, about 30 minutes in total.
staff very nice, they even kept the pool open out of season because a few people asked for this as the weather was still very warm. will definitely stay here again, thanks for a wonderful stay

Room Tip: if you want sun in the evening have a pool vew room

We had gone to this hotel after seeing the reviews on trip advisor. The plus points of the hotel is it's location.

The negative points- the curtain railing was broken in our room, no room service in the afternoon. Room service only between 8pm - 11:30, they switch off air-conditioning between 12:00am -9:00am in the morning which makes your room really stuffy and hot to sleep, buffet breakfast was served cold! Only the croissants, choc doughnuts, fried eggs and chorizo was edible! The rooms get very noisy at night. So stuffy rooms due to no ac + noisy room = pathetic combination! Piece of advice - pls DON'T EVER stay here!

Just back from Hotel Maya after a four night golf break. Guys played golf and the girls shopped and sunned themselves !! Found the hotel and location made a good base for us. Ten minute walk into the old quarter, city centre and harbour. Ten minutes in the other direction to the shopping plaza. Ten minutes to a clean, sandy and safe beach. Rooms are basic and clean but the decor and furnishings were a little dated. Reception staff were excellent (thanks Paco & Noellia) and customer service was good throughout the hotel. Buffet style breakfast, eggs (scrambled & fried), bacon and sausage plus several cold meats and cheeses, lots of fruit and croissants. Pool area clean, plenty of sunbeds but not many parasols, water cold (take a deep breath before you jump in !!). Secure car parking on site is chargeable (10 euros per day). Would definitely use this hotel again as the hotel suited us and the location was perfect for our groups needs. Enjoy.

Room Tip: If you are a non smoker ask for a non smoking room. Sounds simple but we forgot and got a smokers ro...

I would definitely choose the same hotel in the future to stay in Alicante. Lovely, clean hotel, nice food (buffet) varied breakfast - hot and cold food (fried eggs, scrambled eggs, sausages, cheese every day plus fruit, cakes etc). Customer service was excellent, warm inviting atmosphere. Comfortable, spacious rooms and bathrooms, mini bar. Reception staff very helpful at all times.

Myself and my friend stayed a week here. It was close to beach and within walking distance to the city center where there are lots of Tapas bars and beautiful churches and traditional streets. The Castle is near by too.The hotel was basic & clean. Rooms are average; a bit old fashioned and the balcony is narrow. The swimming pool is nice and around the pool is clean but it is small and in the mornings it takes a while for all sun lounge areas to be hit by the sun.The Gym air con was not working and there was a charge on the tennis court. The food at the pool bar was poor but breakfast was fine. The supermarket and shopping center is really close.

Room Tip: Sea facing room is nice to request

Wouldn't change anything about this holiday, it was fantastic from start to finish. The hotel is really well situated - 5 mins walk from the beach (which is beautiful) and 15 mins walk from the town centre and shops. Hotel is clean and staff were all very pleasant and happy to help (even though we couldn't speak a word of Spanish!)
Breakfast was fine - the only bad bit was the cooked breakfast buffet options but there are plenty of other things to choose from. The room was basic but more than adequate and good value for money, and clean. The hotel pool was clean, and it was lovely to sit by the pool for some late afternoon sun.
Can't wait to go back to Alicante and would definitely stay in this hotel again.

I booked this hotel to stay in after attending a music festival in Spain where i had been camping for 4 nights so i wanted to relax by the pool (i don't care for sand) but i ended up on the beach every day. The sun is not around the pool until 2pm, not sure who designed this hotel/pool layout but they won't be winning any awards! That was the only day of my stay where i could get a bed by the pool, the pool area is far too small for the size of the hotel.
The balcony is all closed in so its not really a balcony-more an extension of your room.
The room was quite dirty when we got there, the floor was dusty and the bath & sink hadn't been cleaned properly. We had a broken door & was told just to slam it hard to shut it-shame housekeeping didn't know about this as one day we got back to our room & the door was open. No apology from management offered.
On a more positive note, Alicante is very very nice and even i didn't mind the beach. There are lots of nice restaurants and bars around and so many childrens playgrounds so would be good for people with kids.
