I have read the reviews and realise that a lot of the harsh reviews were made in busy times, to me this is a business man type hotel just like any holiday inn around the world, its not really a resort hotel just because it's got a swimming pool, my thoughts are it is not geared up for that type of holiday, the restaurant has a limit menu and does not cater for a lot of peoples likes and dislikes, my wife and I have several meals here and not one of them would stand out!! and of course as in so many eating places in this area nothing happens till 8pm which for us is far to late and a family with children. I have watch the staff this week and the lady they call Maria never stops looking after the bar and the restaurant a really nice willing lady, for us nothing was too much trouble. The staff on reception first class and all the staff we dealt with are polite, this a working hotel and in many places tired, I feel it could do some safety hand rails where steps are!! Its in a nice area mainly Spanish and 15mins down the road is one of the best beaches in Spain, The rooms are clean but tired the carpets are marked but you cannot blame that all on the Hotel as the clients with no respect cause much of it. Would I come back maybe would I recommend any of my friends for business yes if in the area as a holiday hotel no.

Room Tip: rooms in new block none smoking

The location for the hotel was great; tucked away in a quiet, peaceful area and just a few minutes from a lovely beach. The only issue we had was finding places to eat that were open as our visit was at the end of the season and the bulk of the beach restaurants were closed.

As the other reviews have stated the bedroom was looking rather tired. We had a family room (509) and the wallpaper was coming off the wall closest to the bathroom and the TV's are very old. That said the room was spotlessly clean and met all our needs.

The pool area is lovely although we never actually went in to the pool as it was freezing!

Service in general was great, reception very helpful and friendly as are housekeeping and the majority of the bar/restaurant team. The only exception is the lady who has been mentioned before in other reviews as " the lady with long black hair and glasses " who was very rude and agressive towards us to the point that we did not eat in the restaurant again during our stay.

All in all, good value, good location (if you want a quiet break), clean and friendly and would visit again.

Absolutely terrific long weekend away made all the better by this cracking hotel! Staff polite and knowledgeable, room spotless, pool area like a new pin! We cannot fault this hotel!! The only slight negative we had was some noisy departing guest at 530am who was not a kid (!) who obviously found it funny to be talking very loudly as he walked down the corridors!

Having been on holiday in Spain for 2 weeks, we arrived at Alicante airport a day early. We found the hotel quiet easy to find,( only 3 km from airport ).The staff as usual were very friendly and spoke good English.Check out time was 1100 am,i have a priority club card which allows us to a late check out.The room had air con which was very helpful,it was hot.We stayed on 30/09/2013 the local beach was very good if you had the right clothes ????.We would recommend this hotel .The price was 45 euro good value.

First of all, you have to actually find it. This hotel is incredibly difficult to find, and Google map is not entirely accurate. The roads are "one way" in this area and they're are not signposted - (rare ones that are, normally have the sign hidden under tree branches and foliage!) This also meant that when we ventured out, we found it nigh on impossible to find the hotel again. The hotel map is virtually useless, not accurate and the area that the hotel is in is not even on the main map! (A lot of the map was covered in ads, making it difficult to make sense of).
The hotel itself is nestled between high rise apartment blocks. Opposite the hotel is an absolutely massive block that sweeps around in a gentle curve for what looks like about a quarter of a mile. It is a complete eyesore; it has the appearance of some South London council block. Probably best to get a room overlooking the back, as the pool area is quite attractive. Our room was spacious, with a wooden floor. There is a minibar but no tea/coffee maker. Bathroom also large - more than adequate. No actual soap bars, but rather a shower gel dispenser. Bed mattress not very comfortable and gave us both a bit of backache! It also rolled about a bit (especially when sitting up) as it's obviously on casters.
The area seems to be for mainly Spanish holidaymakers; there are a number of small bars and restaurants nearby - we found a very Spanish feel to it all, which was nice. Some spoken Spanish would be very useful if staying in this area.
The bar in the hotel shuts very early (for Spain -11.28pm) - we made the mistake of coming back from Alicante old town (where people were still eating at that time) hoping to have a drink instead at the hotel. Food is not available either throughout the day. Lunch finished at 3.30pm and it was not possible to get any food after that until 7.30pm (8pm for room service). (My husband came back hungry from a business trip at 3.45pm, and was not overly impressed at not being able to get anything to eat). Had lunch one day in the pool area and it was good. The cafe con leches were really good.
Having stayed at Holiday Inns throughout the world, this hotel seemed to be more on a par with Hol Inn Express, both in terms of service and layout of hotel. The reception area was very small, and very "holiday hotel" like, and the carpeting down the initial corridor to the elevators is badly in need of replacing.
The staff are very nice and, in general, very helpful. However, it is predominantly a hotel catering for the Spanish market, so in some cases, little English is spoken outside of Reception.
The pool area is nice, with a landscaped pool and baby pool. However, the sunloungers are very flimsy, and several times my husband's one collapsed, even after trying out a couple! We also observed another guest's sunlounger doing the same. Maybe ok for your own garden; they are not robust enough for hotel sunloungers.
The hotel caters very well for PRM, with landscaped ramps everywhere; guests using wheelchairs independently would probably find it quite good, in some respects, as access is immediately available directly and easily from the car park into the hotel and there are a whole set of rooms on the ground floor leading directly from Reception. We did observe one independent wheelchair user however, struggling with a side door, though; electronically operated would have been better. Wheelchair users can utilise, and get to, the swimming pool easily as well with minimal assistance if preferred, as that is also directly behind Reception and there are three rigid entry steps with handles to the pool. The height of the bar in the Restaurant though is too high for wheelchair users.
Very thin walls and so this is a noisy hotel. Doors close quietly automatically but other guests during our stay didn't seem to realise this, and banged them loudly. You can hear conversations and TV extremely loudly from other rooms.
The local beach is a beautiful, long sandy white one of the type that the Costa Blanca is famous for, and it is about a ten minute walk max.

Room Tip: Room at back, overlooking pool, would be slightly more picturesque.
