The swimming pool set amidst lush, well kept gardens was stunning. The lack of sunbeds was a bonus for us & lead to a wonderful relaxed atmosphere.
Our apartment was lovely although the balcony, like most others in the area, caught only an edge of the sun during the afternoons. It didn't prevent us eating every meal outside on the balcony.
Towels & bedding are supplied at the start of the holiday. No cleaning service is supplied. This didn't bother us as there was a waste shute on each floor and recycling bins dotted around everywhere on the streets.
The kitchen was well equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge & freezer although we did have to ask for a kettle. The bathroom looked lovely but the shower was decidedly dangerous with the water temperature fluctuating drastically & access to it and the bath being rather precarious.
The staff were lovely. A Masymas supermarket was nearby plus lots of other little shops. We didn't find much to do in the evenings. The area is mostly inhabited by Spanish & didn't really cater for tourists.
We took a couple of trips into Alicante & also visited Benidorm. The trams & buses stopped nearby & cost 1.45 euros per journey to Alicante, although a carnet of 10 tickets can be bought for 10euros & shared between couples.
We enjoyed exploring a different area but will not be rushing back.More
