“Nice to walk around”
Reviewed 30 April 2014

It is just a pedestrian street, nothing very special. But it is nice to walk and explore everything around it: buildings, port, people, restaurants, flora of Alicante. It is interesting that it has colorful ornaments in pavement. :)

“A pleasant walk”
Reviewed 26 April 2014

Leading towards the marina, it was lovely to stroll down watching buildings of such varied styles but never clashing, and natives in their everyday environment. I so enjoyed this daily stroll.

“A typical continental street.”

Not much to like or dislike but a pleasant walk down to the promenade with shops, banks and restaurants on the way.

“It's just a commercial avenue.”
Reviewed 5 February 2014

If you like to stroll and window shop, La Rambla is as good a place as any. It conveniently connects the Mercado Central with the Explanada de España, which are both worth seeing, so take a nice walk along this central corridor.

“euro mania”
Reviewed 23 January 2014

Busy street with lods of action. We liked the euro cafe, lokked a bit like a macdonalds but they have 100 sandwiches for a euro each. Beer and wine are similar prices. cheaper on Sundays! Great value.
