“Good value & great location”
Reviewed 10 August 2014 via mobile

Decent, basic hotel in a great location, only a short walk from Plaça dels Cavalls which is one of the stops en route from the airport. I asked for a room with a balcony and the hotel did not disappoint. The room had really good aircon which makes all the difference. Each morning you get a ticket from reception which gets you a free coffee, orange juice and croissant or toast in the cafe/bar. The only negative, as some other reviewers have noted, is you can hear people talking in other rooms due to the thin walls. Would definitely stay here again though.

We chose this hotel because it was cheap to our budget and the location of the hotel was only about 10 minutes from the beach. Hotels closer to the beach were way more expensive than this one. Ideal for shopping trip or short stay.

Good things about this hotel:
+Friendly Staff
+Breakfast (always good to have a cup of coffee in the morning)
+Balcony in the room

Things that we didn't like
-Noisy streets during night time
-Separated beds (some bugs sting us during the stay)
-The cleaner didn't empty the trash bin during our week of stay. I guess this is the least the cleaner should do daily!
-Dirty towels (they should bleach the towels to keep them white)
-Air conditioning kept loud noice
-Other rooms air conditioning ventilation machines were located in our balcony and were installed the way only one person can sit in the balcony. Cause the other chair was just in front of the ventilation machines that blew hot air to the back. If they would have been other way this wouldn't have bothered.
-Shower and the shower curtain. (shower curtain not keeping the water away from bathroom floor)
-Breakfast (continental breakfast only includes coffee or tea, fresh orange juice, croissant or toast (with butter and marmalade) Some mornings only had the coffee and juice and went to shop get something else. And the mornings i had croissant it was burned from the end and non eatable.

I have chosen this hotel with my family for a partying night out. Location is great in the city center, where all the amusements and all the party areas are in El Barrio. You can get easily walking. Parking close to the hotel is difficult but there is a public parking at Alfonso X that is very close to the hotel. Rooms are nice and clean, sufficient for 2 people with a nice clean bathroom. It is not modern but is very clean. Noise levels are acceptable for the area and staff is very very friendly. The only down side is breakfast, a bit short and really is down to a toast or pastry, coffee and orange juice. In overall is a nice place in the city center. Be aware than in high season availability is very low so book in advance.

We got a high floor as we requested with a view of the castle. The room was big, with windows on 2 sides and a small balcony. The staff was very nice and extremely helpful. One of them did not speak English but we got help from the bar. I really liked the breakfast, only coffee (you could choose whatever you liked), toast (French baguette) or croissant, and freshly made orange juice (made in front of you). It is close to the market, we went everyday for fruit.
The service is basic, the room is basic but very clean, nothing fancy but the price is right and you feel that they are happy that you are staying with them. We are planning to go back next year.

Room Tip: Go for high floor (less noise) and view of the castle.

Found the staff at reception desk to be very helpful. The rooms are clean and adequate. The only complaint I had was you can literally hear every word spoken in the adjoining rooms - not ideal when trying to sleep. The breakfast , freshly squeezed orange juice,toast/croissant/bun and coffee was perfect. It's a short walk to both the marina/beach/town.

Great location near to the old town with it's bars and restaturants and a short walk to the promenade and marina where there are more bars and restaturants. Also 1 block from the main street that runs up to the Plaza de los Luceros ? which is where you can get off the C6 bus from the airport. It leaves from outside Departures on level 2 and it's 3.85 euros per single journey (and it's very easy to use). Get back on at exactly the same stop as it's a circular route.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and there is a small bar/cafe downstairs where you have your included breakfast (coffee/tea, juice and croissant/toast) But more importantly a large beer is only 3 euros :-)
