Loved the room, loved the complimentary minibar! Bed was amazing, shower and bath were amazing.

Literally only two things to say that we weren't outstandingly happy with, but they're only little things:- one of them is that the rooftop pool is TINY. We got up there and there were about 8-10 sunbeds around it, all taken, and this tiny pool that only a handful of people could be in at the same time comfortably. You could tell that some people had been up there all day, too, which is a shame for others that want to use it. Maybe if they had a time limit ticket system or so, so a guaranteed hour per room of pool use at a selected time.. Any longer and you pay more or something, would have been ideal. Same with the Jacuzzi and the Sauna.

The other was that the restaurant seemed particularly expensive- but then this wasn't too much of an issue as there were so many places on the sea front to eat that we weren't planning to eat at the restaurant anyway!

Would happily come back.

Just returned from a weeks stay at AC and don't usually bother with reviews but must share my views. The hotel is spotless and most of the staff speak good English. One particular member of staff (Miriam) went beyond the call of duty when we had problems with an auto bank in the city. Despite being late at night, she just wouldn't give up until she got us in contact with our bank in Ireland. Food and drink reasonably priced in comparison to other establishments in the vicinity. Well recommended

Arrived here at 03.45hrs in the morning to a warm welcome and got checked in quickly. The hotel has a modern feel and the room was clean with all you would expect from this type of establishment. Buffet breakfast is good with plenty to choose from (even chocolate doughnuts!)
Couple of negatives are the bar / restaurant doesn't have a great deal of choice food wise, the pool area has very limited loungers, we never got one and the Jacuzzi area could do with some tlc. If I went back to Alicante I would stop there again, even though the walk into town / beach is up to 20 minutes which can be trying in the heat. In summary the hotel does not bill itself as a holiday destination but is very welcoming all the same.

Stayed here one night as a stopover. Found the staff at this hotel very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is quite modern and stylish, with comfortable rooms as you would expect. The service I found was top rate, would definitely suit business types more than holidaymakers in my opinion, only because as others have mentioned the pool area on the roof was very small and cramped.
The location is good , I walked from the train station with a large suitcase in tow in about ten minutes no problem. Also if you need to get to the airport the C6 bus runs every 20/ 30 mins from 06.00am , and only takes about 15 minutes ,you can pick the bus up just outside the hotel. Save on the taxi, as this only costs a couple of euros! Breakfast was also very good with a nice selection of breads, juices, continental style etc. Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Alicante.

Just returned after a 3 night break.Good hotel but not 4 star. Staff very polite and helpful.
OK for business but not for a holiday as too far away from anything with 30 minutes walk to old town and marina. When there are 4-6 people in swimming pool it's full as so small. Would not recommend Alicante for a holiday since no activities available. Once you've visited Castle and marina - that's it!

I chose this hotel after reading the reviews on tripadvisor and because it was far cheaper than the Melia. This is a sophisticated hotel, modern and with the amenities of a London hotel. It is apparently a business hotel used by flight crews as well as holiday makers. The room is spacious has a fridge with a payable mini bar, and plenty of storage, a lounge chair and a fat screen TV.

The bathroom has a bath with a shower, toilet and bidet. Complimentary toiletries were good.

Room service was excellent although more attention should have been paid to the dusting.

The only things you need to be aware of is that the breakfast although a good spread is a cold breakfast hard going if you are staying for a week.

The roof top pool is small with limited loungers making it a bit of a lottery if you want to relax. The best time to go is early evening or at 10am when the pool opens.

There is only wifi available in the lobby, wifi is chargeable in the room and it is far cheaper to buy a package from your provider in the UK.

There is no tea tray in the room.

The view from the room could have been better we overlooked the car park . There are better views but this is only from the suites which have a sea and port view. There is a lot of building work going on around the hotel.

Good points about this hotel is that it is a hop skip and jump from the bus station where you can get travel to most other places. Most of the buses can also be caught around the corner from the hotel particularly bus 22 to the best beach in Alicante the Playa Juan. The airport bus is also around the corner if you are going to the airport but stops at the bus station coming from the airport. In fact if you like you can catch it at any stop as it just goes round and round.

It us about 15mins to the centre a pleasant walk which you must do as the scenery is beautiful.

There is a gym and jacuzzi on the 6th floor. In the jacuzzi you have fantastic views of the sea and port making it a pleasurable experience. I didn't, use the steam room.

I was able to get a free late check out.

Room Tip: Ask for a view over the car park if you are not in a suite or you may end up with a brick wall.rooms...

The hotel itself is really good it is defiantly a 4* and not one of the ones you would expect. The service delivered is top notch and I have stayed at 5* hotels which do not come close to this.

We got the bus to the hotel from the airport it cost 3 euros and stops straight outside i would get this as a taxi is 18 euros. The hotel itself is 10 minutes to the marina but it is well lit and people are walking all the time. It is 5 more minutes away from the beach and if you want to get the tram to benidorm it is a 15 minute walk and the tram is around 7 euros return and it takes 1 hour saves a good 70 euros in a taxi.

Overall I would say this hotel would be a 5* if it was closer to the town but your paying £55 a night and it is defiantly worth it!
