A spacious and immaculate 21st century hotel. We found our room very quiet, and the giant firm bed was a rare hotel experience. (It wasn't two single beds lashed together with a hard ridge down the middle.) Service was excellent and the breakfast was a feast catering to all tastes. The coffee machine was almost a match for a trained barista. On top of all this, this four star hotel is centrally located, and adjacent to the bus stop for the airport bus (cost, less than 3 euros). The tram stop is one street away. Finally, our four nights cost less than three hundred pounds. We'll go back

Room Tip: Sayaway from the lifts and the maids supply closet.

We stayed here for 7 nights in March 2012. This is an unpretentious hotel that did everything we wanted at a fair price. It is not 4 star - the staff are not obsequious enough and the rooms are not that big - but everything we wanted to work worked and the room was kept clean and tidy. The best point was location - directly opposite the airport bus stop in Alphonso X, 100m from the tram station, and surrounded by loads of cafes and restaurants so we were able to get by on room only. Would certainly return and recommend.

Room Tip: Higher up away from main street side the better.

My husband and I spent one night at this hotel in the middle of Fogueres de Saint Joan on June 23, 2011. The room was a nice size, and it was clean and modern. The service at the hotel left a lot to be desired. Due to the holiday and the subsequent closure of many city streets, we could not get to the original Eurostars Hotel in Alicante that we had booked. [Why the hotel did not caution about blocked city roads is an open question.] A taxi dumped us near the Lucentum without warning us that it was the wrong Eurostars hotel. We could not get to the correct hotel unless we walked about eight blocks with all our luggage through holiday crowds and parades. Instead of being accommodating and helpful, the Lucentum front desk was belligerent and unyielding. After thirty minutes of "we can't do anything and it's not the same hotel" the front desk people decided to cooperate in getting the payment transferred to the Lucentum from the other Eurostars hotel, and giving us a room. But due to the holiday, their coffee shop was closed and most other hotel services were not available or poor due to skeletal staffing. The hotel was in an excellent location as to the holiday festivities. In the end, however, the attitude at the Lucentum was completely unwarranted and the stay could have been quite pleasant but for its nasty people at the front desk.

Spent three nights in this hotel in central Alicanti.... I know you only get what you pay for and this hotel was not expensive but was disappointed in the overall experience.

I found the reception staff pleasant but lack luster in there service. A welcoming smile would have gone a long way!... I found my experience overall poor when it came to service in Alicanti, very poor. From waiting staff to hotel reception and especially car hire (europcar) i found it to be very poor. My experience was that (not all) but many have forgoten who the customer is and who is the service provider is!!...and i am not easy to please.. I promise.

The room in this hotel was adequate. The TV had limited channels and was old. The bathroom was OK but it is only a small thing but.... The glass shower door did not meet the bath edge so every time you took a shower the bathroom floor got soaked. For the three day stay the floor was permanantly soaked...

On the second day we returned to the hotel at 5pm and the room had still not been made up. I eventually gave up and found the housekeeping and got fresh towels and did not bother with the cleaning of the room... Not Ideal!

Breakfast was simple but the cooked food was greasy and just warm.. Not hot.

The hotel seemed to be very quiet but was well situated. It is just up from the sea front and lots of cafe/bars....

Check out was uneventfull... No one asked if everything was alright and did we enjoy out stay?.... Nothing!... It was like they were going throught the motions... Grudgingly!

Not allot else to say but am sure there will be better hotels than this OK but rather soulless hotel.

Room Tip: Avoid if possible the front of hotel as can be noisy as this hotel is right in front of a busy road...

We booked a junior suite room and the room was excellently maintained, impeccably clean and nice environment. The TV was somewhat old and not up to the general room quality. Mini bar was provided and the staff control the ins and outs. We were overcharged for our use of the minibar which is something to watch out. Although there is claimed to be a quality restaurant at the hotel, this is oversold as it is an open area cafe on the reception area with poor range and quality of food. No problem in this regard as there is plenty of choice of restaurants within 50 metres of the hotel. Beware on car parking as there is none and local underground car parks are not too expensive at circa €10 for the night. Car spaces are very tight and with limited availability. Entry and exit to the car parks quite difficult with tight turns and need to execute three point turns to get around corners. A stressfull challenge. Wake up call requested on last day was not executed. Reception staff poor and largely unavailable during our three day stay. We would not return because of the many negative issues. Without a car and not dining at the hotel, the experience would just be OK.

We are a mature couple who like to travel and have spent the last 6 days in and around the Alicante region which we like very much.. We spent the last night of our stay in Alicante city as we needed to be near the airport for our morning flight. From this point of view this hotel seemed a good choice . However, to say we had a sleepless night would be an understatement. This hadn't anything to do with noise on the corridors or indeed outside, no problem there, but the pillows were like balls of rubber - no sleep whatsoever. Now this hotel is part of a chain of hotels and not to get the comfort of the bedding right is a mystery.
As for the rest of the hotel, it is souless, there wasn't even the possibility of making or buying a cup of coffee. Never again.

stayed at the eurostars for 4 nights over new year, very good quality rooms and bathrooms, although a/c a bit hit and miss with temperatue control. Staff are typical city centre staff and not that friendly or knowledgeable, in fact even the tourist office in centre of city is useless. hotel is well located and easy walk to most places in this pleasant small city. Well worth a short visit .

Room Tip: ask for high floor for good views
