Stayed for 3 nights, room was clean, attractive and had plenty of mirrors & storage. Bathroom was nice and shower was excellent. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Staff were helpful and friendly. Location was good, easy to get to by airport bus. Lots of good places to eat within a short walk.

We stayed here as part of a last minute holiday for 6 nights.

We got there withon 10 mins on the C6 bus (still €2.90) and were very impressed with the hotel. Yes its basic, but incredibly clean with all facilities you could want including the gym and sauna. Rooms were attended to with new towels every other day.

The location was fantastoc; 10 mins walk to the beach and all of the other fantastic restaurant ols Alicante has to offer.

This hotel is definitely a business hotel but was perfectly located for exploring the old town (restaurants and bars) and close to the shopping street in the town. It was a 10 min walk to the beach and marina.

Bars and Restaurants in Alicante:
Turn right out of the hotel take 2nd street on left you walk down a Rambla (Mendez Nunez) which leads down to the Marina. Off this rambla are small streets lined with bars and restaurants which dont get busy until after 10pm in the evening but which are open pretty much all day for breakfast/lunch.

Bars:
There is a street to the left of the Rambla as you walk down towards the marina where the bar called 'Desden' is located - Calle de los Labradores. This is a great area to explore bars in. Don't forget to look in the side streets off this side street too. Also to the right as you walk down the Rambla (two streeets over) is another area jam-packed with bars and restaurants. You wont miss it! This is a bar I remember there so ask for this if lost - Sale E Pepe Pizzeria SL, Calle Muñoz.

Beach:
The beach is right beside the marina. 18 euro for 2 beds and an umbrella. The best part is that you can order Mojitos on the beach (from people walking around selling them). It does get jam-packed though.

You can check out the other beaches in the area using the train service which is situated almost across the road from the hotel. Walk across the road from the hotel and to the right. 2 mins walk maximum. You'll see escalators down to the underground. It can be hard to miss but look out for the 'T' sign. San Juan is a nice beach about 20 mins away (take the San Juan line get off at Londres stop).

Getting from the airport:
Take the airport bus C6 at the airport from outside the 'departures' area. 2.90 take the stop BEFORE the 'plaza de los luceros' stop this will leave you off across the road from the hotel.

Shopping:
Turn left out of hotel get to the plaza de los luceros (fountain in centre) and turn left down a main street at end to the right you'll find a street called Avenida Maisonnave for Zara, H&M etc.

Room Tip: Ask for a room up high at the back of the hotel (it's on a main street so can be noisy).

In line with all reviews, good location in old town, and good value for money. Room a little on the basic side for 4 star, but perfectly functional and clean. Air-con excellent and very quiet.

Latest on the airport transfer on the bus is as follows:

Same as previos reviews, follow airport signs to buses and take lift to Level 2 (departures). Bus stop for C-6 bus is just there. Its now 2.90 euros per person, and for Hotel Eurostars Lucentum, the stop you want is called "Alfonso" which stops virtually opposite the hotel. Its after the castle when you're doubling back on yourself in Alicante (so don't be alarmed you've missed it) and the next stop is displayed on the bus on the rolling text (remeber to press the button beforehand for belt and braces). Hope this helps!

The location of the hotel was perfect for getting around Alicante.
The reception area is big and airy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely and clean, the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was large and very clean. The room was cleaned daily throughout our stay. There was a lot of choice for breakfast, there was plenty of hot food alongside, bread, cereal, cakes, pastries, fruit, you couldnt want for any more, you were spoilt for choice.
The hotel is right opposite the Mercado central which is an excellent market selling all fresh meats, fruits, veg, pastries, bread- you can get most things there-well worth a visit.
We were a 10 minute walk to the beach - although its only a small beach in Alicante, there are others within a few miles that you can get to on public transport.
The street that the hotel is on is a main street in the city, there are plenty of shops and coffe shops everywhere around you. You can walk to Alicante castle easily from the hotel-although if you want to get the lift up (which is free) rather than walk you need to walk down pas the beach to get to it.
Also only 5-10 minutes from the old town -which is beautiful and in my opinion the best place to eat.

I stayed for one night so we could visit customers in Alicante and Murcia. I was very impressed with the hotel overall. A comfortable, spacious room, very clean and nicely decorated. I slept very well although I could have chosen from the 'pillow menu' but discovered it too late at night to have made a selection. The free wifi was easy to access and the breakfast selection was varied and appealing. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Alicante as I felt it was excellent value for money.
