Description: Welcome to the oldest and most genuine Mexican Mexican restaurant, which has proven to be an alternative to traditional restaurants and fast food restaurants, and also very different from other Mexican restaurants. It is ideal for celebrations, parties or to eat and dine any day in a festive and fun atmosphere. It was inaugurated in 1992 in the center of the city of Alicante. From the first moment it was a success, tasting the authentic Mexican gastronomy, with all kinds of dishes and Mexican antojitos. Open every day except Sundays at night.

After looking forward to this all day after a recommendation, we were so dissappointed with our experience. Possibly the worst meal we have ever had in Spain, ever. The Burrito my wife ordered appeared in a flash, was soggy underneath and had obviously come straight from te microwave but still was undercooked. Shocking, no spice, no taste and cold. My daughter had beef strips although they took some finding, extremely cold and again tasteless. I had tradittional Fajitas but apart from the vegatables being cooked ok I had to seek out the meat. How can they get away serving fare like this? Didnt have the heart to complain we were in total shock, although we have never laughed so much at how bad the meal was.....plus point coffee was ok!

I love all the food, the personal, the environment... And very central... It's not cheap, not expensive... They should have some happy hour like in the states or other countries as I would love to go there to have some margaritas and dinner... Only thing is.. You get out smelling like Mexican food and guacamole with nachos it's actually a lot of guacamole with 5 nachos... Hehe so you much say nachos with guacamole instead ...

We popped in for a quick lunch as we were walking past because we fancied a change from the standard fare that was on offer in the locality.
The brightly coloured decor, accessories and paintings made for a really cheerful atmosphere and there was a few other customers including a large party who had a jolly time throughout our stay.
One waiter spoke English, there was no English translation on the menu but it was pretty easy to fathom out what we wanted. The staff were cheerful and attentive throughout.
After ordering drinks and our meal we were presented with our first 'freebee': a shot of ice cold garlicky gazpacho which was really tasty.
I ordered a taco salad, which was a large deepfried tortilla that had been moulded into a basket shape to house the salad. The salad consisted of lots of iceberg lettuce leaves that were coated in way too much of a white mayonaise/sour cream type substance, then a spoonful of beans and chilli con carni on top, with grated cheese, some melon and fresh pineapple.
The taco basket had not been freshly cooked, it wasn't quite stale but not far off. It wasn't a brilliant dish but at least it was only 5.50 euros. My partner had a plate of griddled vegetables, a mix of aubergine, asparagus, peppers, a small chunk of corn on the cob (a bigger bit would have been welcomed), two chunks of potato & dressing. We shared three small soft drinks that were a bit pricey.
After our meal we were given another freebee: half a coconut shell of tart lemon slush with a shot of cherry sours in, two cocktail umberallas & two long straws. The waiter gave us a couple of sombreros to pose in and he took our photo so we did have quite a laugh.
They certainly tried, I enjoyed the visit but the food could have been better.

Having looked forward to Chicken Fijitas could not have been more disappointed. The food was well cooked and presented but completely tasteless there was absolutely no spice in the food. The chicken could have been anything. It was so poor l have wondered since was there an error in the kitchen that night?
