Owner description: La Marquesa Golf, was designed and founded in 1989 by D. Justo Quesada, at it was named “Club de Golf Quesada”. Due to it’s proximity to Alicante city it quickly reached a significant number of members and at certain moments it was estimated that 80% of players from the province had hit their first balls there. In 1994 the name was changed to “La Marquesa Golf & Country Club”, a name which got to be known all over Europe, thanks to the Real Estate development created by the Quesada family. An ambitious project of more than 15,000 homes which they named Ciudad Quesada. This is a great residential development with more than 30,000 properties around the golf course. It was incredible to see how many different people from so many different nationalities became members , and have always created a wonderful and friendly environment. Throughout these years, important changes have occurred, technical as well as design improvements, but always respecting the principle of offering a varied route, where the player can truly enjoy the course as well as playing the sport they’re passionate about.

“perfect position for lunch”
Reviewed 2 August 2014

This restaurant is one of my favourites, it is excellent value for 12.50 euros including wine. The menu is very inventive and changes daily. The restaurant has air conditioning so is lovely and cool as you eat overlooking the golf course. I love the cocktail area with the pool, just the place to relax before lunch.

“Good views”
Reviewed 29 July 2014

Living quite near to this restaurant I have visited it on numerous occasions, I think the decor and atmosphere is very good, with a lovely Chill Out lounge by the swimming pool where you can get snacks, meals, and drinks and the views from the restaurant over the golf course are picture perfect. The food is generally of a good standard although I think some of the main courses are a little hit and miss, you do get a good selection which is frequently changed.. The staff are mainly young and friendly and certainly work hard when the restaurant is full.
