While Elda town is not exactly a great tourist spot, the region itself is really nice (18 degrees in January -I can't complain)
The hotel is not particularly chic, but it is clean, comfortable and the rooms are large and well appointed. Staff are very friendly and helpful. One big plus is the GREAT showers in the rooms!
There are a couple of downsides; while convenient, the restaurant is rather soulless and overpriced (ask the receptionist for other options in the local area).
The WiFi is also not great -free only in the lobby (with a not-so reliable connection on the day I tried), or expensive if you want to use it in the room. With free Wi-Fi becoming the standard in most chains, this is a irritation for business travelers.
However on balance if you need to visit the Elda area, this is a good option.More
