“A quiet retreat”
Reviewed 15 October 2013

We have just spent three nights at this recently opened hotel-spa and have enjoyed it immensely.
It is about 45 km from Palma and an easy drive. Out of Campos,it is situated just before the 8km road marker. The hotel is an adjunct to the spa which has harnessed the local thermal springs to make an amazing "wellness centre". The spa has numerous individual spa baths and treatment rooms,as well as sauna and steam rooms. There is a thermal indoor pool with powerful jets and water fountains. In the grounds surrounding the rooms there are two out door pools with very adequate lounges. The gardens are still being developed but are designed to accommodate five jacuzzi for couples. There are fountains and water features throughout the property.
The entry reception area and corridors are very sparse and contemporary and, suited to the "wellness" themeWe had a room with terrace to garden facing the pool and we were a very satisfied with its location. The room itself is modern and lacks enough space for luggage, while the wardrobe is next to the single vanity sink, which proved to be a bit inconvenient at times.
The restaurant is also very sparse, but the friendly staff are efficient and courteous. The bar area is small and uninviting, but this is after all, a wellness centre.
We had a toilet malfunction which was fixed within half an hour of reporting.
The main road which runs next to the gardens did not worry us.
The hotel is a short drive from Colonia de Sant Jordi, where we did some walking along the wide boardwalk and swam at the local beach.
I would recommend the hotel for those who want a quiet couple of days. We did not take full advantage of the spa facilities, but we enjoyed our stay.

John D, Sydney

Room Tip: A terrace room facing the pool is very convenient to the pool and facilities.

We just came back from the Fontsanta Hotel, it located in the rather remote area from city center Palma, you can't find anything within 1k of radar. However, Font Santa offer the best environment and services that you wouldn't like to go out.
I spent 2 nights with my wife and stayed in Suite with Terrace room. The room is spacious and very clean, they offer Bvlgari toiletries we love it very much! The access to thermal water spa & sauna is free, jacuzzi and massage is charged, the outdoor jacuzzi is another highlight because they setup a few jacuzzi on their landscape!
Restaurant is also great, the charge is reasonable and the staffs are also very knowledgeable on what they are offering on the menu, and they are very please to introduce lot of local made ingredients!
Outside of FontSanta, there is one family restaurant next to it but I don't think it opens very often, 1km away is the Es Trenc salt factory, the Es Trenc beach is just 3km away, accessible by car, bike, and even running!
It's Adult only, you don't see kids running around, it's for intimate stay! :)

Room Tip: The terrace on upper floor offer the best privacy

We were spening a weekend in Majorca and spent most of the time on the beach near ses salinas. Although we did not stay at this hotel, we spotted it on the way from the beach to the airport and decided to see if we can use the spa. For EUR90 per person we got full access to the spa and tapas taster menu dinner. Spa is fantastic with wet and sty and turkish sauna and individual and pair baths and lovely relaxation rooms. The dinner was in the beautiful garden and there was live music. The place is beautiful and staff are attentive and pleasant. It is certainly a great place to be and next time we certainly will choose to stay here as well

The spa here is gorgeous of such Hugh quality and the thermal waters deeply relaxing and healing. I loved riding a bike to Es Trenc beach nearby - beautiful. I slept for hours in the big quiet rooms. Stunning service from staff - great food and coffee. I did get cab there but you really need a car if there more than couple if days or you are stuck eating there whole time. I wish they could make the healing thermal waters available to sick people for free every so often- why us it only the rich get access to this natural healing? I would support and applaud this as a guest.

If you cannot stand shouting, screaming kids in your pool, prams and toddlers everywhere than this is the place for you. Kids are pleasant to have around if their parents are caring for the comfort and relaxation of others but this alas is something of the past, therefore we are bound to see more and more adults only places. This one is a charming hotel, very pleasant indeed but we don't think one should spend more than a couple of Days here, it is far away from everything and only suitable for an intimate stay.

Room Tip: Ask one away from the road

We have just returned from a wonderful 5 day stay at Fontsanta Hotel. This hotel is just what it claims to be- luxury, relaxing, quiet with great service throughout. A great October pick me up! We look forward to returning.
