Taverna Sant Julia is a restaurant that will only be enjoyed by keen meat eaters so this was the perfect place for my family. The menu is very simple - steak, chicken, pork loin, Catalan sausage or local (red) sausage, and all the food is based around what can be cooked on the brick built grill. With the exception of the fries and beautifully fresh salad, everything else was flame grilled and exceptionally cooked by one of two owners. You are presented with a complimentary dish whilst you wait for your meal which I can only describe as a Mallorcan version of Bruschetta. There are a small number of starters and deserts available but having seen someone else's main course we opted to go straight in to the main course, and shared a tarte tatin for dessert. The wine list is limited but offers enough choice. We had the house red which was very good, and very well priced at €10 a bottle. You can park right outside. Definitely worth a visit, but as I said, not if you're a vegetarian!
