Our experience at this hotel couldn't be better. It is located outside de city center, but with a Shopping Centre right next to it, supermarket and other stores.
The front-desk clerks were really friendly, the room was very clean, and with a very modern simple and comfortable decoration.
Even though this is more of a Business Hotel than one for vacation, if you are looking for something that is not expensive, quiet, nice bedrooms, has all the basic services and is clean, then this is a very good choice.
The options in Gibraltar where you could get this sort of rooms are much more expensive, 3 times the price, and not nearly as quiet as this hotel.

We weren't expecting anything wonderful in Algeciras, so this hotel was a pleasant surprise. Recent premises, spacious room, free wi-fi and a courteous service. Felt like an oasis in an industrial town.

Sorry for being a little late with this, only just caught up. Stayed here when visiting a friend locally because its so much cheaper and hassle free than the hell-hole that is Gibraltar. Its situated on a huge developing trading estate so would recommend only as a base and you will need a car as its about 8 miles from Gibraltar, or of course as a business base being only 300 yards from the motorway.

Stayed in one of the suites and have to say I was a little disappointed for a couple of reasons.........the decor although very modern was dark and coupled with the high windows gave the place a slightly depressing feel, also there were seperate air con controls for the sitting room and bedroom, neither of which worked very efficiently. I suspect they were set economically which made the rooms stuffy most of the time.
The sitting room was of a good size, with a flat panel tv,couch, table and wc en-suite.
The bedroom was completely seperate, with a comfy king-size bed, small mini bar, flat panel tv and full, smallish bathroom ensuite......bath/shower, basin.wc and bidet.

The staff were friendly enough and check-in was very efficient. Used the underground car park at 10 euros per day....later found out that there were places outside to park for free. Atrium/reception light and airy. Didn't use the bar or restaurant which looked fairly standard from outside.......which was also closed on two occasions......hotel very quiet during my stay which was probably the reason.

If your at a loose end for an hour or two there is a huge cinema complex around the corner which has a pretty decent bar/cafe outside(not the American themed place which was very average) and next door to that is an excellent all you can eat chinese buffet. On the estate itself are several huge diy sheds and a massive Carrefour with the usual burger joints next door.....so lots of shopping if your sad enough.

So in closing.......I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for business stopovers or more mature couples/singles commuting to the local beaches or just passing through. Not really for families/kids.
