After the winter months in Altea, we could not wait to visit again Dona Elsa and Chef Marcus in Nigran.
The boquerones frescos con aceite y vinagre de Modena are the best we have tried in many other restaurants, and the lomo de Bacalao al horno is their star dish. We also had zamburinas a la plancha which were excellent. We also love their house white wine, a Portuguese Albariño/Treixadura which stands out.
Small outlet and limited menu, but they have an excellent product well prepared and tasty.
Good value for money. Will return.

José Campo, CHA

Small and very cosy space.
Excellent cuisine. Boquerones en vinagre and Bacalao al horno, the best I had in a long time.
Albariño/Treixadura de la casa muy bueno.
Great value for money. Will return. Jose Campo.

After a few days of indulging in the local cuisine with awesome tapas, we were having the need to healthy something healthy and nutritious. After asking around, this restaurant came up as one of the only places were we could find soup.
Sure enough, not only did it have an excellent soup, as it had also a delicious and meaty Ox Tail (tail of the cow) that was slow cooked and was just falling off the bone. Being something of an amateur cook myself, i know that to have that piece of meat prepared in a restaurant ready for the costumer to request it when it requires so much time and attention to prepare, it blew my mind away (and also my taste buds). :)

after all of this, came the desserts... well, what to say? the tangerine icecream was so good, and their version of the lemon curd was so soft and delicate and at the same time so satisfying that i am still with a big smile while writing this review.
I've eaten desserts from experienced pastry chefs that weren't that good...

i definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone in the vicinity of Baiona or Vigo!!!!
hoping to return quickly!!!!!
