“The hub of town”
Reviewed 26 March 2013

The cafe's location at the crossroads of the main avenues in and out of town and across from the place means it is the hub of this vibrant town. Its a cheerful place where all are welcomed by the family who run it - a great place to enjoy a coffee or glass of rose at any time of the day or night. The free wi-fi is also useful.

“The heart of Argenton”
Reviewed 24 January 2013 via mobile

Whatever the time of day, early or late, there will be people in the Café de la Place. It's a good place to meet, chat and have a beer or a coffee. Incidentally the coffee is very good here and very fairly priced at 1€. Family run, the cooking is simple, but pretty good. An omelette or a pizza, or something more complicated, it will be good, the service is usually prompt, and the prices are reasonable. We are fans of the Place. It is a really good local cafe, without any great pretensions, a real asset to the town.

“Our Local Cafe”
Reviewed 10 November 2012

It is good for a quick snack or light lunch. Or just to sit and watch the world go by with a coffee or glass of wine.
