I visited this attraction with family members on a sunny afternoon in June. There is a large field containing a few mosaic remains and a well. There are information boards at each point of interest. A small garden has been re-created , Roman-style, although the plants are not necessarily the ones mentioned on the information boards. There is a small exhibition which is interesting. An hour is long enough to visit this attraction. There is a small admission fee so it is value for money. However I would combine a visit with pursuing other activities in the area.

Our visit to this once extensive Roman Villa was enhanced by the hot and sunny weather ,and the beautiful countryside which surrounds the site. If you are expecting Pompeii, forget it - the remains are two dimensional as the stones from the walls have long since gone and foundations and a few mosaics are all that remain. This however does not detract from the historic interest of the remains,as the well ordered museum through which one approaches and the informative descriptions throughout the site help to bring the past into the present.
There are several interactive attractions for children and a well tended "Roman " garden .
The staff are friendly and enthusiastic . Definitely an hour and a half well spent !

An interesting exhibit especially the uncovered bathhouse submarine base. The reconstructed mosaic floors are well done.
This exhibit is an insight into a footprint of our history, however, there are better examples so don't "bust a gut" to go there.

Being interested in history I have enjoyed many visits to this Roman villa. The small museum is good with some items you can touch and even handle.
The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and willing to give you some time to explain the history of the villa and the Romans in the area.
Not costly and worth a visit.
