Entrance to this museum, housed in the hotel that became the HQ for operation Market Garden (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Market_Garden), cost around Eur 8 for an adult and was well worth it. Housing artefacts from the fierce battle in and around Arnhem and an excellent "Airborne Experience", this place is a must for young and old.
This is an important piece of history and presents all of the bravery and horror of war in an informative way that does not glamorise the human cost of conflict.
Around the grounds of the museum are a number of sculptures, statues, guns and tanks which bear the scars of battle.
If you're anywhere near Arnhem, this place has to be on your list!More
