Just by chance we went the First time for dinner. With much hesitation we decided to eat fish, along with some mezes.

The mezes are really very good, fresh locally produced ingredients, cooked by an experienced lady cook, with that special talent of "mama's style cooking.

The fish was top quality very fresh and juicy with the special taste that not easily found coming directly out of Aegean sea to our dish.

The treat of the House was a wonderful "galaktompoureko" and we left with this expectional pleasure of a full and rarely Tasty dinner.

For us this restaurant should be No. 1 in the island.

If peace and tranquility is called for in order to get really far way from the grind of everyday life, but not prepared to compromise on eating well, this is where you come to. Authentic home-hooked Greek food. No more, no less. Enough said.
Then again, maybe I am biased: on our very visit, a freshly picked bunch of wild roses was delivered to the owner by friends who have just come down to the seaside village from their house/farm high up in the mountains. Rose scented around us, I expressed appreciation and was instantly presented with a min bunch by her.

Our dance group had lunch here twice during our weeklong holiday. We sat outside just overlooking the beautiful beach. Yes, it's a traditional taverna where you can go into the kitchen and select your meal. We are vegetarian and there were many options, including local olives, garlic spread, excellent bread, babaganoush, stuffed peppers and tomatoes, deep fried zuchinni and eggplant, stuffed cabbage rolls, and stewed garbanzo beans, rice, lemon potatoes, all wonderful!! Highly recommended!

This is what it's all about, a beautiful location by the sea, a genuine old fashioned traditional taverna, a visit to the kitchen to choose your meal and tasty food. No crowds, just peace and quiet and others enjoying the same.
