Great service, cold beer and interesting place to 'people watch'. Always busy but service is amazing.

“Nice place to unwind”
Reviewed 3 April 2014

The lounge, although located on the ground floor, is nicely separated from the main lobby. It occupies very huge area, that although the seating are almost full, there are still adequate spaces in between the tables. The deco is lovely, services are prompt and quick.

In the evening, the patrons can listen to a pianist performing life while enjoying their drinks.

“Busy lobby bar, great for people watching”
Reviewed 27 March 2013

The lobby bar of the Imperial Hotel. Think of the Waldorf Astoria lobby bars -- but the patrons are well dressed and quiet, and you won't see large groups of tourists and conventioneers in sneakers and polo shirts. On my several day stay at the Imperial Hotel, the lounge was filled with businessmen in black talking formally and quietly and exchanging cards. One evening a piano player was in, and a number of elegant eccentrics gathered around smoking cigarettes out of holders and sipping retro cocktails. Loved the place. They serve light meals, too, and offered a number of inventive and very tasty juice based non alcohol cocktails.
