“Good Location for Tokyo Stay”
Reviewed 19 April 2014 via mobile

Great Location right in front BIC Camera store it's an 8 story shop and down below is the Ginza line Metrorail. Rooms are quite spacious and clean. Their staff are courteous but still a little bit language barrier.

Great place to stay. Across the toad from the metro train, if you stay here you don't need the JR train pass just need to get metro day pass which is 710yen a day. There isn't a JR line close by.
The rooms were nice. Loved the shower, three different shower heads.
Room was tidy and pretty comfy. Pillows were a bit hard.
Right above the Ninja restaurant which was great. Also had a 7/11 which was useful.
Really close to small alley ways with restaurant and bars.
Really good place to stay.

Upon reaching the hotel, this hotel gentleman helped me push my luggage to my room where my husband had been staying for the past two nights. I was to join him after my trip. It is a decent room (small no doubt but expected in land scarce Japan), and a decent toilet with sink, heated toilet bowl and best of all, a standing shower cubicle! There are however big sized dispensers of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel available for use. What you pay is what you get. Having been in Tokyo before, I was prepared for the size of the double-bedded room, and as Japanese standards are always high in terms of cleanliness, I really had no fault to pick. The bed is firm, which I like. There is free wifi in the room. We were out most of the time and only needed a decent place to sleep.

Its proximity to the train station makes travelling easy, and the food streets lined with eating places and restaurants just across provided a large variety of choices. There is the BIC Camera shop, it sells many things! Other than that, I do not see much in terms of shopping. There are the usual big grocery type of stores that sell everything! But it's in a nice quiet area. We spent Sunday morning having breakfast at St Marc and enjoying the street view from the cafe.

The only gripe I would have was that the aircon did not seem to work and it felt stuffy in the room, my husband assured me it was like that but there was hardly any cold air emitting - difficult to breathe. (The next hotel that I went to did have cold air.) My respite was that after getting out the whole day to tire myself in order to get over jetlag, I did succeed in having a good sleep.

We stayed two nights along with tours to Disneyland. Local Shops nearby are neat. If you walk across the street, there is a Bic Camera Store open till ten in the evening. And turn left into a small street there is different bars and noodles sushi shops great for a night out drink and chat.

The hotel is nice, with small rooms of a standard Japanese size. Service was very polite and attentive.

My only complaint is that all of the rooms reek of cigarette smoke. We had requested a non smoking room but upon arrival were given a smoking room. Upon complaining, the staff insisted that we did not request a non smoking room and politely showed us all of the rooms and let us pick the least stinky room. Needless to say, all of the 6 rooms we were shown reeked of cigarette smoke. We ended up choosing the room with the least stench however, this wasn't a great start to our trip in Tokyo.

At the end of the day, the hotel should have been more up front about whether there were any nonsmoking rooms available. If you're sensitive to cigarette smoke, I would recommend choosing another hotel.

They gave me a very far room from the elevator with no window view! I requested to change room and front desk said you have to top-up to move to another same room with a view facing the streets.

Location is perfect, just in front of train station.

Room Tip: Request for a room which has a street view or else you will feel living in a box.

I had two stays on business in November 2013. This comfortable business class Hotel is in a very accessible location close to subway station, loads of restaurants and in walking distance of the imperial palace district. Airport shuttle is available outside the hotel.

Business class rooms have reliable wifi, desks and comfortable bedding and pillows. Efficient and quiet climate control too. Some traffic noise- but this is only to be expected given the location.

Smart and clean restaurant on the 3rd floor offers limited international style and traditional Japanese dinner options. Greater range of choices at the breakfast buffets with fruit, pastries, cereals and hot western and traditional Japanese options.
