My husband and I just loved staying here for a few days at the Peninsula! The hotel was modern and beautiful, the location was perfect for touring the downtown area, and attached to a train stop for easy travel.
-Service: The staff were so cute and so friendly! We were greeted warmly and well taken care of for the duration of our stay.
-Accommodations: Our suite was spacious and absolutely beautiful. Both the bedroom and bathroom were modern with Japanese flair. The king bed was very comfortable with reading lights on each side. The bathroom was gorgeous and spacious with his and hers sinks, a large soaking tub that could fit two people, a separate shower with hidden drains, and a private toilet/ bidet room. We also had a walk-in-closet with a vanity and lots of storage space.
-Dining: we enjoyed breakfast at two of the restaurants at the hotel. The one in the main lobby had a sit-down menu, and the other was more of a buffet- both were lovely and offered similar foods. The breakfast menu had many options to choose from with both traditional Japanese, and western breakfast options (granola, yogurt, eggs, toast...) One of the best things was when the chef whipped up hot chocolate drinks for us made from scratch- perhaps the best we've ever tasted!

We have recently returned from The Peninsula, Tokyo and highly recommend it. The hotel is very contemporary and timelessly elegant. While the public areas are not as large as other Peninsula properties we have stayed at, we consistently enjoyed the same level of elegance, hospitality, service and attention to detail. The foyer is beautiful and we never tired of the magnificent lighting installation and the stunning contemporary bamboo dragon sculpture. The lobby always felt refined but buzzy – just the right mix.

The location near to Tokyo station and with direct undercover access to Hibiya Subway Station is extremely convenient and you are in walking distance of the Ginza department stores and other high end retailers.

Our Deluxe room on the 18th floor was a total knockout – large, elegant and a perfect retreat in a very, very hectic city. A special mention must be made about the fabulous bathroom and the largest, best appointed dressing room we have ever experienced. As usual at a Peninsula Hotel – the room’s control systems were sophisticated and very easy to operate.

We had a wonderful dinner at the Hei Fung Terrace which was as elegant and tasteful as we have come to expect from Peninsula Cantonese restaurants. Lunch or the a la carte breakfast in the lobby was also a polished affair. Make sure you have a drink at Peter Bar on the 24th Floor – the night time views are spectacular! In short, I would stay here again without hesitation.

Room Tip: We loved our Deluxe room

We were told on arriving at the hotel that our room had a prior smoker occupy it. They could only put us in an inferior room. We opted for an inferior room after much haggling with front desk. They rewarded us with a glass of Champagne at dinner. Staff is rude. I would not stay here again. Stay at the Ritz.

The Peninsula group of hotels always features spacious rooms with walk in wardrobes, big bathrooms & rooms with exceptional attention to detail and their Tokyo property is no exception. It is situated in Hibiya, near the Imperial Palace and a 5 min stroll to Ginza. We stayed in a Deluxe Park King room and the room had a small dining table by the window overlooking Harumi Dori.We found the table particularly useful as we could buy cakes or cut fruits to eat in the room without having to order a food trolley from the room service.Only issues were the service in the hotel was a bit slow and there is only a twice daily service on the Airport Limousine service from Narita and vice versa.

Room Tip: Choose a room on a high floor

Nothing special to look at from the outside but a lovely hotel on the inside , we had a deluxe park view room which was spacious and had every amenity going , my daughter loved the novelty of a toilet that massaged you and made various noises ! We tried the spa whilst here and were impressed with both of our therapists experienced hands . We had breakfast here each morning and also afternoon tea , food again was very enjoyable , the little restaurant downstairs did some lovely egg Benedict waffles .! The concierge here were lovely and so accommodating , one guy ( am really sorry can't remember name ) even used his own personal credit card to purchase us some tickets for Disney as we were having problems using ours ... Overall a lovely hotel and can totally recommend
