“A very nice bar”
Reviewed 15 May 2013 via mobile

A cigar friendly bar with entrance through open kitchen. When Nobu is at work you have to order one Shining Road cocktail! I have never been a fan of tequila, but flames and mint with peppercorn and other ingredients really make it Shine! If you prefer non alcoholic go with House made ginger ale, it works! And if you don't like smoke... here is excellent air conditioning taking the smoke away from smokers.

“Outstanding value and service”
Reviewed 26 November 2012

We ate at Dazzle on our last night in Tokyo. It was truly Dazzling. Enter on the 8th floor and you're greeted by a full kitchen staff prepping dinners for the restaurant, at first you feel like perhaps you should have chosen the 9th floor, but then you'll be greeted by a charming hostess, and taken into the very cute little bar where a tender chips his own ice and makes fabulous champagne and strawberry (real strawberries) cocktails. You'll then go up to the 9th floor, where you'll again be greeted by the same hostess (who likely sprints up the stairs as you are going up in the elevator, goodness knows how she gets there to greet you after seeing you into the lift on 8).

The wine room is something to behold, it dominates the dining space, but in a good way. I'd ask to be seated on the platform around the edge of the restaurant, where you have a good view of the street below, as well as being in a great position to survey the restaurant. The food was incredibly good quality for the prices, and the wine list is extremely well priced (comparatively speaking, remember, you're in Ginza). The service was just excellent. I follow a vegan diet, and there was absolutely no issue with accommodating me. I was eating with 3 omnivores, all of whom also had a wonderful dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant. We had eaten at "Peter" in the Peninsula the night before, where I honestly nearly choked at the prices. Whilst the food is marginally better at Peter, and the view is outstanding, I'd choose this restaurant over Peter any day, and it's less than half the price.

“Fine french fusion restaurant in Ginza”
Reviewed 28 May 2012

A fine restaurant in Ginza offering french fusion cusine. The restaurant features a nice bar for cocktails or after-dinner drinks, located in the floor below the restaurant. As usual in Japan, service is excellent. The place has a comprehensive wine selection (which are kept rather dominant in a floor-to-ceiling storage), including some japanese wine (give it a try!). Price/value is very good, considering it is Ginza (around 30'000 yen for two, incl. drinks). Ideal for a romantic dinner or special occasion.

“Great little french restaurant in Tokyo”
Reviewed 10 February 2009

This French restaurant is located on the 8/F and 9/F of the Mikimoto Tower. I must say, our first impression of the restaurant was already very good. When we came out of the elevator, it was an open kitchen area with staff preparing all kinds of desserts. We were immediately greeted by a restaurant staff who escorted us to yet another elevator to the 9/F dining room. When we came out of the second elevator, the very same staff was there to greet us again ! (he must have taken the staircase).

The restaurant has a small dining area with perhaps 12-15 tables. It's nicely decorated providng a warm and cozy atmosphere which is perfect for romantic gathering. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share and to our surprise, they splitted each dish for us nicely without extra charge. The crabcake, foie gras, sea bass and lobster linguini were nicely done and we came out very happy customers from the Mikimoto Tower.
