Compare to other international chain hotels at this price, I vote for Courtyard by Marriott Tokyo Ginza. The room is spacious. Breakfast is unbeatable. Location is not far away from main street of Ginza. Nearby there are a lot of restaurants and convenient stores, also, department store.

From Narita or Haneda airport, you can take Keisei train then connect to a metro to get-off at Higashiginza station. It is 100-200 meters away.

Business traveller may like this hotel as well.

However, if you have a budget constraint, you may try other cheaper hotels in exchanges with half of the space you have from Courtyard by Marriott Tokyo Ginza......

Our group of eight (two families: four adults, two 13 yr olds, two 11 yr olds) stayed here Sept. 28-30. We wanted a standard western style hotel as we adjusted to the time difference and this fit the bill. The location is good: easy access to the Ginza district, the fish market and the subway. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast.
One note about traveling as a family in Japan: hotel rooms with two queen sized beds are very, very rare. Rooms tend to be either a queen or two fulls. Given the ages and temperaments of our kids, we were able to rent a queen room for my husband and I and the kids were in the room next door on two full beds. Our friends' kids are not quite so independent so they had two adjoining rooms, each with full beds. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.
The hotel concierge helped us with dinner reservations and the hotel had a variety of preprinted sheets with info on various neighborhoods/sights which was very helpful.

What can I say, this is an international hotel chain. It feels about the same in Tokyo as it does in Beijing as it does in the good old USA. Its clean and comfortable, but a bit of walk from the subway with luggage.

What more can I say. It's a Courtyard. It is clean, bright, and staffed by incredibly polite and helpful people. It's in a great location near the Ginza shopping district, and easy walk to lots of shopping and night life. Metro stop is a 3 minute walk. Rooms are small (as you would expect in Tokyo), clean, and fairly up to date. Lots of nice little amenities, like toothpaste and shaving gel in supply without even having to ask.

Room Tip: My room was next to the elevator, but was quiet. It Also had a view of an industrial courtyard with...

Location is great.
Tsukiji and Ginza is very close.
The hotel looks a bit worn out and might need rennovation.

I stay here some times. The location is just near Higashi-Ginza station and Ginza station, so the transportation is easy. Nearby quiet, but busy area just in the distance of stone throw. Easy to get food and go shopping. Additionally, very close to fish market Tsukiji. If you like fish food, do not miss that location. You just can visit there by foot around 10 minutes.

Only spent 8 hours in the hotel, as was out at 3:30am to catch a flight, and had had a really busy week leading up to it, so sleep took precendence.

Room was pretty decent, two slightly bigger than single beds, decent shower (shower curtain always a negative) and very clean.

Room is pretty tight, two people would be squeezing past each other at times, didn't get a chance to sample the restaraunts or any of the hotel facilities
