“Amazing boutique hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 March 2014

I love this hotel. It's conveniently 3 mins from the Metro, has a great little restaurant across the street (Munchies), a 711 on the next corner; a tiny but stylish room with a bath (short in length but so what,it's a bath and I love bathing) , a laundry, complimentary coffee in the lobby, complimentary bath salts every day, and the friendliest, most helpful staff I've met in years. Highly recommend it and from now on I'll be looking for more of this chain of hotels wherever I go. Thanks for a great stay! Ps, I'd suggest adding yoghurt and fresh fruit to the breakfast menu.
Also key is that they are enviro conscious and ask you if you need to have linen changed every day - if not, you get free bottle of water.

Room Tip: NB to ask for non smoking

We stayed in winter this January and really loved our stay. When we first walked in we were greeted by a modern clean lobby and lovely receptionists. Check in was easy and our room was ready early. The rooms have their own heaters so you can control the temperature. The rooms are small but we were expecting that in a big city. Everything was clean and washed daily. The bathrooms and toilet were great. Shower had great pressure and hot water and the toilet was very modern. Toiletries are complimentary. The receptionists were happy to help us with whatever we needed. Location was also great, a 5 minute walk from the subway station. Highly recommended, would stay again without hesitation.

Ok, we got lost for an hour from Ningyochi station, so please print a map. And get the exit right. If all failed, find Suitegamae, it's definitely much nearer. If you see MacDonald, it's the small lane opposite it. After that the rest is easy. Very accessible to Disneyland, and other places. Not too crowded line and place to stay. Morning, the neighborhood is full of salary men and lunch delicacy. Lots of ramen, sushi, fast food, western cafes. Very nice neighborhood, a little bit quiet at night but that's a good break from the crowded shopping streets.

Room is small, but well organized. Wall a little bit worn, some scratches. Housekeeping is not consistent. Certain days clean well, but other days can be eye brow raising - as compared to japan standard of super clean. Wifi on and off but we survived OK.

We are happy with the value of the hotel. Staff are friendly.
We paid for breakfast when we need, very simple buffet: bread, salad, egg, fruits, cereal, miso soup, coffee and tea. 600yen.

Overall a pleasant stay.

This is my first Japan hotel review, so I can't tell you if the room is big or small, although it seems small to my North American eye. It is very clean, well designed, with good bedding, firm beds, a mini fridge and kettle in the room, and very courteous staff. And the Ningyocho neighbourhood was a pleasant surprise. Very elegant and calm, but with no shortage of charming restaurants, bars and cafes.

Room Tip: I cannot imagine 2 people managing in a "semi-double"

The Japanese standard tiny, tiny, tiny room. Having said this, small tub/shower and bathroom were impeccably clean. Despite room size and travelling with backpacks, we managed in the semi double space. Staff were polite, courteous and could not do enough for you. Beds were comfortable and hotel was free of noise. Rooms were safe an secure. Hotel, while not in the heart of Tokyo action, was an easy subride away. Charged 10,000 YEN for checking out an hour late and 20,000 for losing a room key. Having said this, there were clealy written noticea when we checked in regarding such fees/penalties. If you sont lose anything and don't sleep in you are home-free! Positively would stay here again.
