Stayed here 3 nights from May 24-27, booked a single room via agoda but they gave me a room with two beds. Room was clean and had an ensuite bath (with a short but unusually deep tub, quite nice) with free toiletries. No english channels on TV. Kitchenette with small fridge, had a kettle, tea cups, and glasses. Onsen with 4 pools was really nice but women time was only from 5-8am. Staff was helpful when I wanted to book tickets to an event for which the booking line was only in japanese, and also when I needed instructions for the subway transfers. Higashiojima station on the Shinjuku line was 7 mins tops with a brisk walk. Supermarket was 2 mins away and open from 10am-11pm, it also had dry cleaning and key services and a stall for japanese goodies like mochi if you want souvenirs. On the 2nd floor was a department store area which was really convenient. I went home from a night out, at 12am and it was safe. However, most action in Tokyo happens in the western part e.g. Shinjuku, Shibuya, Roppongi which is 30 mins away. Asakusa is closer and would take ~20 minutes. So be prepared for the extra trafel time. I would stay at this hotel again if I was on a budget.
