Well it took 2 hours to get there cos I got the wrong train so was a bit rushed and decided not to do the special exhibitions which would have cost 800Y but instead do the free tour. I must admit it was pretty good especially as it was free. Everything was interactive and explained in a English and Japanese. The staff and volunteers are knowledgable and helpful. Well worth a visit.
It's right out on a limb amongst soulless office buildings but there are a few museums nearby along with Venus Fort shopping mall and it's Ferris wheel.

My GF and I went there this afternoon to see the exhibition about toilets and human feces (until october). It was very et interesting. The permanent exhibition is however hard to appreciate if you dont pute your geeky scientist mode on! There s plenty of stuff to learn about the human.body, space, energy anse futur technologies, but you must dedicate yourself and be ready To read plenty ife stuff To really enjoy it. WARNING concerning the trip to go there:you must take a spécial train from.Shimbashi to gère there! Thew train ride bye the way is awsome! It gives you great point of views of the Tokyo skyline, just for that and the poop exhibition, I would advise you to go!

This museum was really interactive and well done. The current exhibition is a dedication to toilets and sanitation, quirky in parts and serious in others it is worth checking out. Allow several hours to cover all floors
