My family were sourcing for alternatives after the Disney chain hotels and mystays were fully booked. APA has found to be a great alternative of you don't travelling a bit to Disneyland.
It's a 9mins JR to Disneyland and additional 16mins on monorail to Disney sea. The attractive price and location is the selling point IMHO.
We paid 4 nights and spend 2 days shuffling bet tokyo-odabai (close proximity) and another 2 days for disneyland/sea.
Location
5mins walk to/from shoimi JR line-do note that limited express train will bypass Shoimi stop.
We love the maruetsu supermarket, just outside the Shiomi station. Well stock, large and generally cheaper than lawson and family mart. Turn out to be a heaven for our late dinners after Disneyland.
Rooms
Too small for our family of 2 adults and 1 4yr-old. Smaller than the fresa Inn that we stayed in Tokyo. Armed with a pancake flat pillow which I need to fold it in halves. Upgrade to a larger unit if you can.
Services
Front desks are generally courteous..I requested for additional set of pillow and bath towel which was delivered promptly within 5mins.
On the contrary to others, my room was cleaned daily. Once occasion my boy vomited and soiled the bathroom at night. Next day it was cleaned.
I would recommend budget travellers whom are not too fussy as an alternative stay at APA to visit Disneyland.
