disappointing, it seems to be a top jazz club, you have to pay extra charge to have a seat. the bar seats ofwere not AVAILable. Prices ARE TOO HIGH AND IT´S REALLY worse smellling of "STINKy cigars" It looks like people are smoking very cheap cigars. I don´t understand why they allow people smoking there in this "healthy country". I felt sick after being there for 30 minutes.. A pity because the jazz singer and trio were playing good music. Hyatt please make the place a non _ smoking area

We were staying at the Grand Hyatt and thought we'd try it out. Sounded fun with live music, champagne, etc. Tricky to find is how another reviewer described it and I would concur. Music was ok not great. The cover charge, drink and food prices were high. We finished our drink and appetizers then left. Nice atmosphere. Better places in the area for much less. Go if your expense account covers it!

We came accross Maduro by accident we arrived in the Grand Hyatt after dinner in Roppongi and figured they may have a nice bar to grab a drink at. We spotted Maduro on the signs in the lobby and figured we'd go there- not the easiest bar to find we had to go through 2 different elevators within the hotel to get to 4F Level and even then we werent sure how to get in but you will see a giant 'MADURO' sign on a large slabs of wood which is the door that automatically opens when you get up to it. We choose to sit at the bar where there was no cover charge and very much enjoyed the live jazz and atmosphere. Drinks on average were about 2000 yen so not cheap but if your only planning to stay for a couple of drinks then id say its worth it.
Would recommend going here for abit of a romantic date.

We ve been there twice and whitin out visits one year past, but the experience was twice the same.
Its a pricy place but the interior is just nice and comfortable. The cocktails are tasty, def a good bartender. The staff is nice and helpful and english menu is avaible. They offer tapas right now. You can choose from 16 tapas to collect a set of 4 (2000¥)or 6 (3000¥). The table charge is 2100¥. Its pretty dark in there and restroom is also pretty dark.
The only negative points: In the case of the restroom it could be def more light in there and the whole bar is a smoking area. When you step in you are already covered by the smell of cigars which will be your follower whole night.

Very dark and cozy bar lit by gas torches . Part of Grand Hyatt but quiet tricky to find. Beautiful design and amazing selection of wines and spirits and "amazing" prices. Good place to impress clients or girlfriends. Prices are expensive even for Tokyo. Much better value options in walking distance available.
