We were desperate to visit an Iron Chef restaurant while in Tokyo, and were excited to find we could get a lunch reservation at La Rochelle. The venison as part of the set menu was the best I've ever had. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was lovely. It was great going to a restaurant with food of this calibre, and with its reputation, but that wasn't pretentious and was great value (at least compared to almost any restaurant in Perth, Western Australia).
