I was taken here as a guest by a food and wine loving colleague, which was just as well as I don't think that I would have found it otherwise - down a steep side road and up a set of steps to a small unassuming door. Inside is a small French themed restaurant seating no more than 20 customers. It specialises in game (the pate was excellent). The tournedos was sublime. The wine, chosen by my host with assistance, was an excellent match to the food. In true Japanese style I didn't see the final bill but looking at the price of the set menus I would say good value for the quality of the food. Well worth a return.
