“Coziness with a good view”
Reviewed 20 February 2014

This is a very nice hotel with a reasonable price considering its location (being in Tokyo and all). It's centrally located, with subway and lightrail stations within walking distance. They have very interesting exhibitions at the lobby (AWARE: it's not on the ground floor. Read the instructions on the lift) and apparently every now and then they would project some short films onto their giant white wall for ones to watch. The room was rather spacious, and the view was very good; we could see the Tokyo Tower from our room.

However, there are two thing that you need to be aware of (nothing about the hotel facility tho):

1. Unless you are on a business trip that requires you to stay near Ginza, this area may not be a bit boring for it's kinda far away from all the fun places. Except that there is a giant clock opposite the road (on your way to the subway station) influenced by Howl's Moving Castle which chimes every now and then. It's definitely worth checking out if you are nearby.

2. I find that many luxury hotels in Tokyo have a distinctive feature: they occupy only the top floors of high-rises. This can for sure provide you a good view, however for one that can't stand a rapid lift due to the air compression like me or one with claustrophobia, it may not be an enjoyable experience. Park Hotel is definitely one of these hotels so you might wanna take that into consideration.

It's really convenient because of the location. The view at the Lobby is awesome, too.
Above all, staying the night view at my room can make us feel relaxed and everything is worthy, especially in higher floors.

Room Tip: Facing Tokyo Tower and higher floors is great.

As we were flying early to Sapporo from Haneda Airport, it was too early for the airport coach. We used the Asakusa subway line. From the hotel, it was a 5 minute walk to Shimbashi station using underground arcade and under cover from the snowy weather. There was no train transfer necessary. Hotel to airport took less than an hour and was hassle free.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with Mt Fuji view.

amazing views, fantastic staff and service. could not fault it in any way. convenient location with shops nearby, and as it is in the business district you are always going against the traffic so the trains were not crowded.

Stayed at Park Hotel Tokyo for business during the Japan Golf Fair. Website is easy to book reservation, check-in was pleasant, and rooms are clean with mind-blowing views. Irons are not stocked in rooms so you may need to ask for one. It will be hand-delivered to your room within minutes. Breakfast in lobby is outstanding- delicious produce, juice and a mix of American and Japanese style food. The hotel 2 minute walk to mono-rail and other train stations. Will look forward to staying at Park Hotel Tokyo for future business trips to Japan.

The location is excellent, really near to Shimbashi station
The room are clean and comfortable
The lobby is very nice (with a spectacular view) - only point is that the wifi is cutting very often so it's quite difficult to work from the lobby

We stayed for 2 nights in this hotel. Things we liked about this hotel:

1) great location. It's about 5 mins walk to the JR Shimbashi station (covered via underground passageway). Shimbashi is just 2 stops away from Tokyo which connects you to the rest of Japan. It's actually walkable to Tokyo station via GInza, which is what we did for both days as the weather was great out. it's also just a 5-8 mins walk to Tsukiji fish market.

2) airport limousine stops directly at the hotel, which is very convenient if you have a lot of luggage.

3) Room was very comfy. Spacious by Japanese standards and the provided Thann toiletries is a very nice touch. Bed was also very comfy.

4) staff was very helpful and provided recommendations on the restaurants around the Shiodome area as well as assisting with restaurant reservations.

We usually stay at the villa Fontaine shiodome next door but decided to give this place a try as we got a really good rate for our stay (they were running some winter special when we booked). We're glad we tried this place and will definitely return in future.
