“Good and efficient hotel”
Reviewed 13 August 2014

Not a new hotel but still very nice and in good condition. Very big rooms with nice views of the harbour. Very good and friendly service by all staff, as is typical in Japan.

Hotel is not in the most central location but still well connected by taxi or train. Haneda airport is just 20 minutes away.

We were having two separate stays in Tokyo so picked two separate locations. This location was picked because of the proximity to Kidzania which us only a short train ride away.

The limousine bus from Narita took about an hour and a half and dropped us at the door where our luggage was kindly taken for us. On arrival reception we were greeted by friendly staff and given a cold drink and hot towels to refresh us after our journey. Check in was speedy as there were plenty of staff.

We shared a twin room with our two children and there was enough space for us all. About the size of a standard hotel room in the uk although the beds were bigger than single but not quite double. Children under 9 share beds with adults In this hotel. The children were given a cute nightgown and their own slippers which they were very Impressed with. The room had plenty of toiletries, even facial wash and moisturiser, a razor, toothbrush, cotton wool, etc as well as huge bottle so of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.

The room was clean and nicely set out and the air-con was a refreshing break from the humidity outside. We had a park view room and I'm sure the sea view is nicer but the children enjoyed watching the trains coming into the station (which is right next to the hotel and very convenient). There is in noise that we noticed from these trains.

We did not use any of the restaurants. But they looked nice and had a good range of menus including a nice looking afternoon tea! There was also a gift shop and a reasonably priced fancy cake, bread and dessert shop which I needed to drag the kids and myself away from as they looked so good.

We were concerned about the location and new there were several entertainment and shopping centres nearby but didn't know if they would be within walking distance. We had nothing to worry about! Aqua City is the closest and Decks, Divers City and Palette Town are within walking distance. We did not have breakfast in the hotel but there is plenty of choice elsewhere. Kids were happy that Diver City had a Crispy Creme Donuts too.

At Palette Town there is a Ferris wheel where we had fab views to take in. We were going to try Legoland discovery in Decks but just didn't have the time.

This was a perfect hotel for a family with kids who don't want to trail too far to entertain them and to recover from jetlag before our tours around the country.

First, the hotel is easily access. There are many places to visit around the hotel.Go and explore by your own eyes.
Next, though the hotel is a bit not new,the room is still very clean and big.The view from the window is amazing.
Most important of all, there are always smiles on the staff 's face. They can speak English well, and are pretty kind.
A small shortcoming is that the stone road in front of the lobby makes heavy luggage hard to move. However, overall ,I recommend this hotel.

Location: although not located in central tokyo, this hotel is in a beautiful location overlooking the harbour with downtown tokyo beyond. It is very conveniently located to a metro station giving direct access to downtown. There are also several sights in the immediate vicinity including the Fuji TV building, mini Statue of Liberty, the waterfront and several malls.
Service: excellent service from check-in to check-out.
Room: the room was classic in style with added luxury. The room is spacious with with large comfy beds. The bathroom was also quite traditionally styled with a large luxury shower. Our room had a balcony with a stunning view across the harbour and bridge.
Restaurants / bar: we didn't try any of the bars or restaurants within the hotel during our stay.
Spa: the spa and leisure facilities are amazing, particularly the rooftop outdoor spa with views across the tokyo harbour and skyline.

Room Tip: Opt for a room with bridge view. Make sure you use the spa and pools.

This hotel is in a great location for shopping, sight seeing and relaxing. The room is well equipped and maintained. The spa is great too. The only down side are:
The staff do not speak alot of English. Japanese guests seems to get a better welcome than non - Japanese (this was our observation). Breakfast was very poor, especially for the the price they charge, compared to other Asian hotels I have stayed. Not alot of selections and left over pasta and Minestrone soup from the day before as breakfast is served in the Italian restaurant.

We got a room with a view of the harbor and the bridge. We had access to the pool and gym for no added costs. It's conveniently located by a shopping mall, park, and monorail station and well-worth your visit. It's a popular place to stay for foreign and domestic tourists alike.
Only thing I was concerned about is the price of other services, like breakfast for example. They charge you an extra 2600 yen per person for a breakfast buffet. You're better off buying cereal, yogurt or bread at a conbini nearby.
