“Gorgeous Garden in Nezu Museum”
Reviewed 25 September 2013

Nezu Museum is a must visit you never want to miss it . It s not hard to find . It might not be boring . On the other hand, there are a lot of special exhibitions here. There are many sorts of art such as : painting, sculpture and especially bamboo craft . The artists are so skillful to creat many masterpieces like that . Moreover Nezu Museum has a gorgeous garden . It s covered by green with blooming flowers . Trees are taken care of carefully . This museum gains high quality of art . Nice relaxing!!!!

“Fantastic Museum in Beautiful surroundings”
Reviewed 28 August 2013

This museum is a real hidden gem in the busy Minami-Aoyama district of Tokyo. The architecture is stunning and the museum garden is also beautiful. Having lived right across from the museum for several years it has been a delight to see the renewal of the museum, and the new and beautiful architecture.

Well worth a visit!!

“You'll forget where you are”
Reviewed 30 July 2013

It's located bang in the central Tokyo but does not look it. The permanent collection might not be particularly exciting but there sometimes are very interesting special exhibitions. If even that doesn't interest you, it'd be nice to walk around the garden to rest after shopping (or whatever) around Omotesando. (Wheelchair access to the museum but not really in the garden)

“Good for the archaeologist in you”

Many nice artifacts. Interesting gardens. Be careful of the flies! They bite with a vengeance! You can visit this place after strolling through Omotesando. It's at the end of the street.

“Old meets new in Tokyo”
Reviewed 15 July 2013

This was an amazing museum. Architect Tadao Ando creates an incredible housing for the statues but the gardens are the true magic which are reminiscent of imperial Japan. I strongly recommend a stop there for anyone (especially first timers) visiting Tokyo.
