I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of October with my father, though we had separate rooms. For one individual, I found the rooms to be perfectly fine.. however I plan to come back soon with my boyfriend and would have probably found the room too small if he was staying with me (especially the bathroom, as noted by other reviewers). The front desk clerks were friendly, and the room was always tidy and clean when I returned at night from full days of sightseeing. Being so close to the train station was a great bonus, and I had a room facing what sounds like the opposite way from the trains, so I had no problem with noise. Wi-fi signal was also the best in this hotel compared to all others that we stayed at in Nara, Kyoto, and Sendai.
For a solo or business traveller, this hotel is a good option. For a couple... I'm not sure.
