“Fascinating and an awesome structure”
Reviewed 25 June 2014

At night the Rainbow Bridge is as capitulating as any other landmark in any city or any other well known bridge in the world! It's colours ever changing, hence its name, bring it to life by night & by day it stands as a symbol of power and strength with its double decker carriage, with driverless trains and plenty of cars and buses moving along it 24/7! A must see from the land & the water!

“It's beautiful at night, from this location?”
Reviewed 24 June 2014

It's hard to get a good look at the bridge. Crossing the bridge during the day on the train didn't work. But, my guide took me to the premiere viewing spot. By walking through or enjoying a drink at the Hotel Nikko area at night the Bridge lives up to all expectations. It's is painful to and from, but it is pretty.

“Very pretty”
Reviewed 23 June 2014

We stayed at a few places with a view of the bridge, and it was really pretty lit up at night time. Great view of the bridge from the ferris wheel at Odaiba.

“A pleasant diversion”
Reviewed 19 May 2014

Travelled over this bridge during 2009. Was returning from a weekend in Aizu-Wakamatsu. Darkness had fallen and as traffic was relatively light the coach driver announced he would take a slight detour and take us over the bridge. All the Japanese aboard the coach Ohh'd and Ahh'd. The multi-coloured lights were twinkling as we passed over.

It was a nice finish to an excellent journey. It isn't something I would go out of my way to see, but when chance allows it is something to enjoy.
