“Great Location”
Reviewed 29 August 2014

Prince Park Tower has a great location. Very close to the metro stations and Tokyo Tower. On a very clear day, you can even see Mount Fuji from a distance.

The rooms are small, but nothing unexpected as accodation in Japan in generally smaller than normal. The rooms are very well equiped. The Japanese really do think of everyhing, and are very meticulous to detail.

The breakfast here is fantastic, with a wide variety of choices.

Communication was a little difficult as some of the staff didn't understand basic English, but somehow we managed to get by. They were always polite and smiling, and it is hard to get annoyed at someone who bows to you constantly.

I stayed at the Prince Park Tower in Tokyo last week for business. I stayed for a week and found the property to be very livable.
I took the deal which allowed access to the Executive lounge on the 33rd floor and this I found well worthwhile. The lounge is open for breakfast in a buffet style, tea / coffee refreshments during the day and then in the evening snacks and alcoholic refreshments all in a self serve format.
The atmosphere is relaxing as well as being able to enjoy the views of Tokyo, including Tokyo Tower which feel like it is right outside the window.
The room was well appointed with a toilet that had more electronic features than a Lexus. The bathroom was a good saize with both a shower cubicle as well as a bath with hand held shower nozzle.
One trick worth remembering is that you can nominate to not have your your room cleaned and bed turned down for two out of three nights. They still take out the trash every day. You get rewarded with a JPY1,000 voucher per day which can be used in the hotel shops.
The hotel is located in Shiba park, so there are no shops or restaurants on the immediate block. The nearest metra station is Shibakoen which is around 400 metres away.

The hotel is exceptionally good for business, although it wouldn't be my first choice for pleasure.
The meeting rooms are very well organised and the variety of restaurants in the hotel is wide ranging. The views from the bar on the upper floor are also worth seeing.
I didn't like the added costs on top of a very expensive hotel however. I didn't touch the gym due to the price and once in the bar, I was told that I would have to pay $100 if our group wanted to sit near to the window.

Clean hotel, helpful staff. Expensive add-on to use pool and gym, particularly since room rates are premium already. Just had a problem in checking in early. Extremely tired and asked to check in at 11.30 but would only allow it if we paid an additional $100. Left a sour taste to the experience.

This hotel Was Excellent and I would have no hesitation in booking it again if I were to go back to Tokyo . the hotel staff were very helpful and the little sho inside the hotel was great for convenience foods
it ah a cocktail lounge at the top of the building where we had a few cocktails as nightcaps whilst we enjoyed the excellent night views over the city
A bit late in posting this review we were there in January 2011

Room Tip: I personally had a room for a couple on the south side , but don't think it would make much diff...

It was a wonderful stay at this hotel back in 2009. We felt the luxury everywhere. Electric curtains..., superb beds and a magnificent view from the bathtub. Close to the main metro lines makes it central as well. If you do not chose to have breakfast in the hotel it has got its own small shops where you van buy an roll and a cuppa to go.
