We spent three nights at the Tokyo Ritz Carlton and we can only say a new benchmark has been set for our family. We stayed here Mid-December after a couple of weeks in Thailand. From minute one, we were treated like royalty. There are too many positives to list all of them, but here are a couple: The room was fantastic, with incomparable views of the city, amazing. Our two kids, aged 2 and 4 loved playing on the ledge up against the windows, no fear of heights with those two. The size of the room was excellent, as well as the exquisite bathroom. The club lounge was fabulous, with a nice breakfast and snacks throughout the day and evening. The location was great, you do not have to step foot outside for anything as the shopping mall and Metro station are all contained in the same structure. What impressed us the most, and we have retold this story dozens of times, is what transpired after my son left his teddy bear at the hotel. On the plane home, my son notified us that his Oreo Bear was missing. Catastrophic images tore through our heads of the many sleepless nights ahead... When we returned home, we indeed confirmed that Oreo was nowhere to be found. I sent an e-mail to the RC asking if by-chance they had found Oreo Bear. I received a response from Toshinori Tanaka, loss prevention at the RC. There was a note and an attachment. The note was for me, the attachment for my son. The attachment was a picture of Oreo Bear and a "hand-written" letter to my son. In the letter the bear says that he has been well taken care of, has made many new friends and is looking forward to being reunited with him. Toshinori Tanaka even pretended that he was sending Oreo via airplane and provided his confirmation number and when to expect him. Oreo arrived shortly thereafter, with two RC lion friends for my kids and photos of various places that Oreo had visited with his new friends in Tokyo. If Toshinori Tanaka were a baseball player, he just hit a grand slam in the bottom of the 9th in the seventh game of the World Series to walk off the field with a championship! Many, Many heartfelt thanks from our family to you! This will be a story re-told many times in the years to come and has guaranteed, that anytime this family is in Tokyo, we will stay at the RC again.

I've only stayed here a single night but the quality of service, the luxury of the rooms, the food and drink that were provided were top notch. The lounge bar has excellent views of the city and the Tempura restaurant is exclusively fantastic. Every person of the staff was so helpful and made us feel at home.

Room Tip: The club house floors have a double jacuzzi bathroom and the unlimited food and drinks in the club l...

I've stayed at this hotel twice. Both stays were truly excellent. It's one of my favourite hotels in the world. Rooms super comfortable - beautiful HVAC - never hearing turn on or off and keeps room at precise temperature. Amazing pool and fitness facility - great views while working out. Starbucks at ground level. Attentive staff. Could not ask for anything more.

Stayed at the Ritz Carlton for a work trip. Hotel is located at the top of a mixed use building with wonderful views of the city. Rooms are very clean and the staff was there to meet each of your needs.

Bar has wonderful view of the downtown Tokyo area and you can walk to a lot of stuff in the surrounding area of the city

Room Tip: Breakfast is very expensive but there is a Starbucks on the ground floor of the building

The Concierge made us feel like it was home. Provided a great itinerary for our stay and even provided fantastic Sumo tickets and provided a great guide. One of the best Ritz-Carltons in the world with great views.

We stayed at Ritz Carlton Tokyo for 2 enjoyable nights. The hotel rooms look out to a great bird eye view of Tokyo. The hotel is modern and comfortable, with warm and helpful staff.

We specially enjoyed the swimming pool and the afternoon tea at Ritz.

The hotel is convenient location next to a large shopping complex, as Ritz Carlton Hotels always are.

The only thing was that, I left my under water MP3 at their changing room, the hotel staff promised to send it back to HK by Courier, but I still haven't got it 11 months later. But I suspect it might be related to the (English) language issue, which is inevitable traveling in Japan.

Stayed at Ritz for 3 nights. I previously stayed at the Conrad and Okura. Its probably the best location out of any hotel, right in the heart of foreigner-friendly Roppongi. All the bars and restaurants friends recommended me to were literally a short walk away. Another plus is the large sized rooms- I was shocked how large they were, compared to the other hotels mentioned. Also the view is also second to none; probably because its in one of the tallest buildings. The only drawbacks were interior- its a classic design but not really to my liking- they managed to make a 6yr old hotel look much older, although this probably comes down to personal taste. I much prefer the Conrad interior. I had room service twice and thought the food was just OK, but there are so many restaurants nearby I guess it doesn't matter. Overall good, but I am still yet to find my favorite Tokyo hotel.
