My daughter and I stayed at this hotel because of its location near Nakano Broadway, a mecca for Manga lovers. The neighbourhood was very interesting, with many many places to eat nearby, and being right across from the JR station was very convenient. We took the train a few stops to get to Shinjuku station, where there are a couple of lovely department stores.
The hotel itself was fine. The room had everything one would want, including a small fridge, which was convenient. Our room faced the train station and had a great view of the skyline. We had considered going to the restaurant on the 21st floor for dinner, but really, the view we had from our room on the 17th floor was good enough.
My only complaints about this hotel are that the lobby REEKED of cigarette smoke, and that the people working at the desk were totally unable to give a recommendation for a restaurant. Other than that, it was a great value for money.
Be aware, this is not a very touristic area of Tokyo, and the maps at the JR station do not have any English!More
