Queued for 50mins and served with English speaking crew. I tried 2 plates of sushi cost 2000yen and 2800yen. Worth every cents spent. Exceptional fresh and delicious!

Came here after reading TripAdvisor reviews and after one of our Japanese friends recommended this place. We came with very high hopes after visiting the fish market in 2 occasions.

When we arrived we received a waiting ticket and was told the wait would be around 1 hour. We decided to walk around the mall and come back afterwards. After an hour, they asked us to wait an additional hour. So we decided to stay since we had already waited a lot.

After nearly 2 hours, we received a table. We ordered immediately since we had already memorized their menu front and back. It took about 20-30 minutes to get our food. The food was fine, but definitely NOT worth the 2.5 hour wait.

You can get cheaper and tastier food at the market without the wait.

Slightly dubious about the shopping mall location, and nearly deterred by the long line of (other) foreigners, this was a bet that paid off in spades. I have had sushi all over the planet, in some of the highest rated sushi bars anywhere, and Midori can contend with some of the best, without leaving you with an empty wallet or maxed-out credit card. The service is polite, efficient, friendly and warm. The fish is super fresh, presented in style and in generous cuts. Try the crab sushi, a sweet, plump and tasty treat. To avoid the evening lines, come early afternoon when the lunch crowd has left and the dinner crowd still shopping. Otherwise, take a ticket at the entrance and wait for your number to be called. You can wander off in the meantime and if you miss being called, you will be granted priority seating when you return.

Went here for lunch last week and really enjoyed the freshly made sushi and lively sushi chefs. There were no english signs at the front and we only knew we were at the right place based on the long queue which moved fast (20mins). We sat at the sushi bar and where entertained by the chef. The sushi was fresh and one of the best we had on our trip. All was well priced and worth a visit.

We were staying at the hotel in Mark City so it was super convenient to go to Midori, and we wanted to when we saw the line of some 30-40 people waiting at all hours! We took a number and went up to the room to relax - a great strategy not available to most. We arrived back down and were seated almost immediately fortunately. EVERY dish we ordered was super fresh with amazing high quality fish and the sushi rice itself was also different than most and very tasty. The toro and scallop sushi was excellent. The roll we ordered with many salmon fish eggs was super fresh too. Every morsel was a treat. The only complaint was that we ordered a bit too much and wanted to take half our salmon roll back up to room. NO CAN DO! Especially odd since they have a take-out window too. We argued and they said take out is only available for take out menu and in-house is in-house. Very irritating rule. Otherwise highly recommended.
