“Fantastic!”
Reviewed 25 April 2014

The best gyozas I've ever had. We queued about 30 minutes, but it was totally worth it. I never thought gyozas alone could make a meal, but it certainly filled us up (we ordered 6 portions of 6 gyozas between two of us). You can have the gyozas pan fried or boiled, and with or without garlic and herbs. We had a selection but pan fried with garlic and herbs was the favourite.
Slightly hard to find, but with a map, it should be fine.
At 290 Yen per portion, you're hard to pressed to find a better value meal!

“Really tasty, cheap gyoza! Great Atmosphere”
Reviewed 15 April 2014

Found this place when wondering around Harajuku and looking on trip advisor. It's off the street and doesn't have an obvious name but the queue of people is sure to show where it is! We ate here twice, once mid week about 3 with no queue and then waited 25 mins on a. Sunday. Menu is limited but delicious and cheap. It's authentic and you can see them cooking in the middle as you eat at the bar or at a table.

“Good value for dinner”
Reviewed 6 April 2014 via mobile

A bit hard to locate since it is in an alleyway off off the main shopping street. Look for the Kafir Lime restaurant nearby. We waited in line for 30 min on Sunday night. Place is small but service is fast. You are expected to order once you are seated. Menu is limited, 180Y for appetizers and 290Y for 6 dumplings. We tried both steamed and fried as well as original and with chives. The two of us ate 18 dumplings plus one bowl of rice and broth. Dumplings were tasty but nothing special. In a city of expensive food, this place is a great value and no wonder there is always a line of locals.

“Fun and tasty, always a must”
Reviewed 6 April 2014

We go to eat here every time we are in Tokyo, we love the atmosphere and the food.
The restaurant is laid out in a semicircle around the sunken kitchen, where they cook gyoza (dumplings) in various forms. Just the place to hang out, have a beer and a good feed, either as a quick bar meal, or with friends in one of the booths.
The cooking of the gyoza is a real show, which means this restaurant provides entertainment as well as good food and good value.
No reservations are taken, and there is usually a queue, but the wait is never very long, and it is definitely worthwhile.
Tucked away in a little back street in Shibuya, it can be a little difficult to find, but worth it when you do.
